The main event is one I've been waiting for for ages but due to the undercard being so short on exciting names/fights I won't buy it. Eddie Hearn might be good at getting these sort of fights made but he don't half try and fleece the boxing fans. He knew people would moan at Joshua v Whyte being PPV so he loaded the card up with some real decent match ups but because he knows most hardcore boxing fans have wanted this fight for a long time he has just shoved on a load of up and coming lads on. It will be great experience for them all and good luck to them but for £17 there should at least have been 1 big name as chief support. Hearn can fack off because he won't get my dough
Although I agree with you. Apart from AJ vs Whyte, due to me being at a steve wood event, ive purchased every PPV for the last few years. Just split the PPV cost between yourself n a few mates. It may not be worth £17 but its worth £3-4
It's obvious the main event is selling the show, and that the undercard is pretty ordinary. As for the gloves are off, its just selling airtime in the build up, and doesn't really have any bearing on the outcome of the fight, but Quigg did have Frampton stuttering and mumbling like a kid with his hand caught in the cookie jar. Having slurred speech doesn't mean you have a low IQ, but thinking that it does shows the IQ of the people suggesting it.
thread might have moved on. Usually i watch in the pub, but if i don't yes i think its one worth paying for
Having just bought a firestick with Kodi on it I wont pay for it and see what the quality is like on that
I would liked to of seen a couple more big names on the card. But ill be buying it, Lowe vs mcCullouch for the commonwealth will be a good en i reckon.
It's a fascinating main event, one I've wanted to watch for years. So I'll probably buy it. But it still seems really low key. Normally the casual fans I know will be talking about an upcoming PPV, even if it's turd, but this isn't getting all that much attention.
Watching it at the casino but would never dream of paying for any of Eddie's Pay per Poo offerings. HDMI cable to TV will be very popular that evening for many. Fook Eddie and all his Pay per Poos. Sky Boxing a fooking joke last year and this year is turning into an even worse stinker.
Ii suppose it depend if you only subscribe of the boxing content, personally I subscribe for the Boxing, Football, Darts but I have been involved in the running of a regular SKY show and trust em there isn't enough money to get these big fights made from the regular SKY shows.
