I'm going out on a limb and saying Dinu could pull it off, he seems better than anyone Miller has fought so far. Hard to say with Dinu not having fought anyone decent but he's big, quick and has decent enough power from what, we've seen.
In a different world where a great trainer got their hands on him five (preferably ten)years ago, Dinu could've been a beast. I'll give him a "what the hell" upset pick here because I'd like to see him get at least one decent win rather than being a complete "what could've been" fighter that fell by the wayside like so many others.
I am, but with the caveat that I like Miller and will not be disappointed either way. As a boxing fan, I see that the polished amateur will usually beat the former kickboxer/MMA/football/basketball guy. Now, it doesn't always go that way. There are other factors. Miller is a tough, determined guy, and Dinu let a decade get by him. One has to question why? Does he really even have a passion for fighting? But in the end, I think people are getting a little oversold on a guy whose wins are against plodders like Wach and Washington, and the Adamek fight was a bit of a sad joke. Duhaupas was actually his best win, a solid fringe contender with experience and skills, and yet still a guy who is not quite as good as Francesco Pianeta. My guess is that Miller sees some movement and has no idea what to do. Could be worng though. Let the better man win.
All good if Miller wins, too. I'm with you- let the best man win. Dinu's biggest hurdles are that he's from Romania, which has no real boxing infrastructure, and liked it enough to go back. He had a stint in Canada, then went back home to open a boxing gym.
10 years ago I think he would destroy miller. but at 32 I think he has regressed due to inactivity.. but still pulling dinu by upset in a close fight.
