I may have if it is from the 90's ... it may have been retitled for the release ... if it deals with all the corruption of Tyson, King , Suliman and the the 1988 - early 90's Tyson circus I have ...
yes. Its a great book. I leant it out and never got it back but there was a lot of dirt on just about the entire original "team Tyson". It is no rose tinted glasses hero worship peice and shed light on the whole catskill clan who until that time got a very good press. Most of what is understood about Tyson comes from this book. I recomend it.
Sounds like a mint book chokky m8. :thumbsup Like Midget Lisp said in his award winning film of truths, Jacob and Clayton were slavedrivers who worked him way too hard, took a combined 30% of his purse (bloody greedy imo!!) AND lied about his age saying he was born in 1966 when it was really 1967, so they could make him go pro earlier when Tillman schooled his ass in teh usa olympic team qualifiers. MAYBE if we were in Tinkerbell's managerial situation in 1988,, we would of left them and K.Rooney, to go with Ghetto Gangstas "Bright Spark" Bright, "Sharp Strategist" Snowell, and smooth criminal extraordinaire Donald "Ex-Parte" King eXactly like he did??? :think:think Foreman Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooook!:rasta
Tyson had a hard childhood but fell on his feet once his talent was discovered. He had the very best of everything from that point but the greed/ ego of jacobs and co created a monster. This is why for all Tyson was great, the man had flaws and as a person was too damaged to entirely realise his whole potential. great fighter though.
XPERT-post. :thumbsup Hey m8 what do you think of my post??? :think Was Jacobs as greedy And egotistical as Donny "C.R.E.A.M." King??? :think
Jacobs was a strange, strange man. Talk about ego. one story I remembered was he thought he was robin off batman.
