I wonder if you might be thinking more about Zab's advantages over Clottey in terms of explosiveness and flashy speed, and maybe forgetting about how Clottey is a naturally larger man who might not buckle for one of Zab's heavy shots. I think a Zab KO is unlikely in this fight, but i it occurred I'd bet it would be a late round, accumulation type KO as opposed to a big combo that knocks him out early. I could definitely be wrong though, it happens more often than I'd like.

I'm picking the less athletic but more solid and durable Clottey to win a fight where his size advantage comes into play late in the fight and Zab panics when he realizes he isn't going to run him over easily.

Cotto is definitely "elite" IMO. His boxing skills are becoming more and more polished with every fight. He was outjabbing Mosley and Judah at times.

I mean if he dominates Marg, would it be out of the question to have him as the #1 P4P fighter in the world when you consider the people he has beaten in recent years?

If Clottey takes Judah into the late rounds then he'll probably win.

I think Zab is finally going to focus on this fight and fight a 12rounder. I dont know how hes going to break Clotteys defense but I believe he will. Clottey has simply showed us his best and I dont think its enough to beat any elite fighter. The guy fights the same fight for 12 rounds.

Seriously speaking tho don't you think that Clottey turtle shell defense cancels out Zab best offensive weapon which is his uppercut?

Yup I'm looking forward to it. As annoying as he is Zab is probably the biggest talent in boxing right now...for about 4 rounds. I like his athletisism and his style and I hope he catches Clottey with some pinpoint lefts to the chin and ends this thing.

Good break down, but you are right about my views. But I just think that Clottey is living off 4 rounds against Margo and he still lost. Both of there hands were hurt in that fight. .But Zab only big win was against Spinks, so honestly its 50/50. But really want Zab to win

Alright, I fall for it and go with the guy looking to pick a fight. Don't get me wrong though, I have no intention of defending Shane Mosley. I've always thought he had a lot less class than people pretend he has. My question is about Zab. Who has he ever beaten that has gotten him into the category that he has been viewed at for years now? What is his best win? Reggie Green? Or is is Junior Witter? Oh, that's right he did KO Cory Spinks. But considering that Stinks Jinx just lost to an 80 year old ten loss Verno Philips, that doesn't look so good either. So what's the deal? Why is he rated so high? Why does he keep getting big name fighters to give him a decent payday, when he really hasn't earned the shot in the first place? Oh, that's right. They see that he has a name and will get KTFO as soon as they land a meaningful punch.

It's a good matchup. Clottey's defense and left hook will give Zab problems. However, Zab's biggest weaknesses are his suspect chin, his inability to deal with pressure, and his subsequent stamina problems. Clottey is not a big puncher, is not a pressure fighter(he's painfully inactive at times), and his stamina may be worse than Zab's.

Guys, let's not forget the ultimate X factor in this fight and that's Judah's mentality. How will he react when things don't go his way and he gets hit with a couple of hard, flush shots? He went into a shell against Cotto and Baldo when things didn't go his way even when it was evident that if he just let his hands go, he could do great things. The question with Judah isn't his talent. The talent is all there. But he doesn't seem to know how to utilize it the right way. But i guess that's what makes Judah so fun to watch. You never know which Judah will show up.

    Correct.

Sparking undisputed champ Spinks in his backyard was his best win.

That fight was at 154. Spinks is at his best at 147. Spinks was also robbed in that fight, it has no baring on Zab's win over Spinks.

Zab is a 3 time world champ over two divsions. He's also a former undisputed champ. He has earned his shots. People watch Zab because he's fast, hits pretty hard, and is unpredictable. Watching a Zab fight is the closest thing to watching a Tyson fight in terms of a potential train wreck.

Zab has never been knocked the **** out. He's been TKO'd twice but he has never finished a fight on his back. Both times his fights were stopped, he was on his feet. Tzyu landed a crushing blow on Zab, Cotto landed a bunch of crushing blows(including two below the belt), Mayweather landed some big shots on him as well. However, none of them have been able to keep Zab down. No matter what happens to Zab, he always gets up.

I look forward to any fight but this is not as anticipated as the fight that will proceed it a week before: Cotto vs. Margarito.
