Fellas, I was just taking a trip dowm Memory Lane and going through my old stash boxes of my classic archive fight films........ It just dawned on me that back in the 1980s, all the major PPV title fights were aired on Monday night..... WTF???? What idiotic promoter thought Monday night was better suited than Saturday night??? But by the 90s, HBO and Showtime got their acts together and settled with either Friday night or Saturday night........ Monday night fights----SUCKED in my view............ Come to mention it, in recent times, even Friday night has been cancelled out from any major PPV's......... Nowadays, its all SATURDAY!! MR.BILL:huh:good:bbb
Duran leonard 2 was a Tuesday. Leonard-Hearns 1 was a Wed. Or Thurs. Duran-moore was a thurs. I remeber that one because i was in the audience and missed work for 3 days to go to it after the college year ended.:rasta
