Anyone remember Bobby Czyz when he was announcing on SHO time?

I think he was better than Foreman, Jones, Lews and everyone that's come after the SHO time crew was Pacheco , Albert and Czyz.

Cyz was a good announcer and had a decent voice any one else remember why he got the axe at Sho was it some domestic stuff? I cant recall

all I know is Barkley at TNT throws people through plate glass windows get B jobs on over turned SUV S and TNT doesn't fire his ass.

 

He was one of the better announcers. Not sure what happened to him. If I remember correctly, he's a certified genius in real life---a MENSA member.

he was with Sho time with Marv Albert and Ferdie Pacheco in the mid ninties he was canned for getting a 3rd DUI. Still Czyz was the best ex fighter turned analyst I have ever seen even better than milk dud and Paulie.

 

I remember him on Showtime. If he did HBO I guess it escapes my memory.

He was much like RJJ: a lot of nice insight but all too often it became all about him.

the thing with Roy is he is so pro black its annoying to hear him as his bias always comes through.

 

Czyz was on Showtime and was horrible. Czyz and Pacheo together simply sucked, as each sucked equally.

 

Really good announcer. I wouldn't rate him above RJJ but he's definitely up there.

 

Czyz apparently was pretty intelligent from an IQ standpoint. He was a member of MENSA, which is for a very select group of really smart people....He was also a ****ed up alcoholic. I think he got arrested a few times for DWI.

 

You all wanna know?

He got arrested TWICE for drunk driving and Showtime let him go after the 2nd offence.
He had a very abusive father and as a result he drank a lot.

I thought he was all right, but for some reason he was a vicious JCC hater. He never even tried to conceal it.

 

I didn't know that, now I have to look into it.

 

He was cool. He kind of embodies to me the diversity in boxing. Even the middle class Caucasian males have issues. Hell, even Froch is a sociopath now because somebody stole his bike. There are rumors (from him) that when he was 5 he didn't even didn't cry when King Kong died, and he laughed at people who did.

Shakira's ass has a mind of its own so it essentially doubles her IQ. It's science.
