Was wondering if any footage involving him is available besides the Simon Brown & Aaron Davis matches. I'm looking to do a little something on him. For anyone who wants a peek at Maysonet here's the extended version of the commonly available Simon Brown match.

I used to have a very poor copy of the Hugh Kearney bout, which was broadcast but I can't for the life of me find it anymore. Kearney was 17-0 at the time and several seconds into the first round Maysonet lands a long right hand bomb on the button and that's it. One of the fastest knockouts I've ever seen and Kearney was stone cold OUT. As boxrec puts it... "Kearney down at about 10 seconds into the fight and the referee stops the fight without finishing the count."

Also, is Maysonet the only fighter to ever put "Superman" on the canvas?

I remember him well. I brought the Brown fight up on another thread about long rounds not too long ago. The officials stopped the clock when Maysonet went down in the 2nd for whatever reason, and the round went beyond 3 minutes, with Maysonet taking pretty brutal punishment during that extra time. I believe that was the first World title fight to take place in Hungary.

Also remember watching the Kearney fight the night it happened. IIRC, Kearney was the guy they were showcasing, and Maysonet was a bit of an unknown. That was a quick, brutal KO win for Maysonet, and it happened at the Blue Horizon in Kearney's backyard. Kind of a poor man's version of Amir Khan-Breidis Prescott.

That was a clean knockdown of Davis from an uppercut I believe. Not sure if Davis had ever been down aside from that, but it's the only time I've seen him down.

Only other footage I found of Maysonet was this...

I remember Jorge Maysonet well. Solid fringe contender for a bit.

I know his ko (camcorder) of rising British prospect Darren Dyer exists and I remember seeing his final bout (badly knocked out) by Anibal Acevedo was shown on British tv too.

I´m pretty certain his fight with rising prospect Jose Luis Bermudez was filmed because I think I saw a clip of it before Bermudez fought Buddy McGirt.

Maysonet might be the second on this brief clip, awful quality:

Thank you Fred. Bad quality is better then nothing at all, My opinion anyway.
