In the days I speak of, even expressing doubt was ******ed.

    Tyson was their psychological soother.

Well, he fought Holy when he was past-prime, and Holy was still more than competitive in rematch. I have no problem if someone choses (prime for prime) Holy over Lewis. LL was down twice against B-level fighters, got almost outboxed by Mercer and was in trouble against Briggs. Are you sure Holy stands no chance here?

    Glass chin

    Fraud

    Disgrace to the sport

Causng ATGs to roll in their graves

Tyson would have stopped him in 30seconds.

Tyson will probably stop him in 30 seconds.

    Never be a Great.

Only a champ of the worst era ever.

    etc

Ps. Rahman will knock him out again.

Why on earth are you asking me that?

You don't even know what my opinion is on such a fight.

My opinion, and other individual opinions are not the point of this thread.

I was really pissed when Rahma KO'd Lewis, and I couldn't understand what was happening.

    I was ecstatic.

I did not even understand why myself, but I was like one of those sissy emo soccer fans that you see at soccer stadiums in our country.

A shock knockout out will do a lot of damage to you're reputation. Especially seen as after that he changed his style to limit that type of thing. Really he was a truely deciated warrior that was just doing whatever he could do to win.

If you want an example it was a lot lot like the turn around that you would of seen with the way people feel about Vitali. Chris byrd and fighting abunch of nobodies pre-Lewis made people resent him a lot. Things have changed.

hell it wasnt even that long ago that he wasnt respected.... go back to a little before the tyson fight. I remember he was never held in the regard he is now on ESB when he was active.... i suppose thats natural in boxing though, your status becomes elevated when you retire.
