Anyone remember the floyd vs zab judah fight?

I can't remember many details..other than Judah was fast as hell and was able to match speed with FLoyd for a while. But he just didn't have it upstairs and Floyd fought his fight like he always does.

From my memory Zab was up early but it was pretty close, Mayweather caught up and it was even by about 6-7, had passed him by about round 7-8 and was clearly dominating by the end of the fight. I thought it was like 8-4 Mayweather and Zab did a lot worse after the scuffle.

 

Yeah. One of the few guys to actually have some success against a prime Pretty Boy Floyd. Maybe 9-3, 8-4 for Floyd.

From memory Judah won 3 out of the first 4 rounds, and should've had a knockdown scored in his favour aswell. After that Mayweather took over and pretty much won every round after the 4th, although Judah may of won one of the later rounds from memory I'm not sure.

Overall I think 115-112 in favour of Mayweather with the knockdown that should've been scored would be a fair score.

 

Yeah, how can we not forget Fraud Mayweather ducking Antonio Margarito so he could go fight Zab Judah who was coming off a loss to feather-fisted Carlos Baldomir?

So FMJ is the fraud, not Plasterito and his dubious cheating ways where "his power would always increase as the fight went on"? I can't fault anyone for ducking Margarito at this point because it turned out to be smoke and mirrors, if anything it just says a lot about the chin of Paul Williams bc Margarito couldn't hit for anything in the first 6 rounds of his fights, and was a "slow starter." His whole career is in question for me and Floyd was right to not fight him. Tony probably loses anyway tbh

 

Idk, I had it 3-3 after 6, but could see 4-2 Zab. I feel like Zab lost out after that point. I understand some people thought it was something of a draw at the time because of the shoulda been KD and that Zab nicked a round later so it was 7-5 + a KD which made it a draw or something close. But idk, FMJ won clear to me.

 

I remember Floyd Mayweather's dodgy personal referee didn't count the clear knockdown scored by Judah.

 

I was thinking about it just yesterday, weirdly.

 

Lots of weird moments. The kd not being called, fight should have been a dq technically but sfter the fight it was a clear Floyd win 116-112.
An overall forgotten fight. Same with his snorefast vs Baldomir where the crowd bood him.
