when khan went around america to look for a trainer khan had a trial session with uncle roger and roger told him he is too busy to take on khan and he cant put in the amount of time that he would want to.

Of course he's too busy. Beating ho's and helping ***** duck foes is a serious business.

Also, if he trained someone who actually needed a fight education like Khan did at the time rather than a naturally gifted and accomplished fighter like Floyd, Unca Roger might be exposed as a fool with no knowledge, which he is.

Leave the serious training to the Roach's and Steward's, while the Mayweathers talk **** on On The Ropes and go to court.

He didn't go there to see if he could train him.

I'm sure it was just to have a Training session with him. There was nothing about Roger becoming his trainer.

Roger had a shaky chin his boxing career so he probably didn't want to deal with that during his training career.

    Good decision

Yeah I remember reading that too. I remember Roger saying something about Khan pick things up pretty quick. As for why they didn't end up together, I read two different things....

    - Roger was too busy to take him on.

    - Khan was visiting quite a few trainers at the time, including Buddy Mcgirt - who he took a liking to. But in the end he went on David Haye's recommendation of Rubio.

it was actually before he got ko'd and so what if he did?

thats a good excuse for someone not to try train a fighter and improve them?

are you one of those children born after ****? sadly the tears didn't wash away the sperm and it managed to reach the egg on time.:-:)-(

You're definitely not mistaken. I remember things pretty clearly, because at the time, I was really excited at the thought of Roger Mayweather turning Khan into a pure boxer.

Rubio was fired after the Prescott fight. Khan went looking for a new trainer after the Prescott loss.

I remember Khan four different trainers in four different fights:

Martin Kristjansen - Oliver Harrison (his main trainer since his debut)
    Michael Gomez - Deal Powell
    Breidis Prescott - Jorge Rubio
    Oisin Faigin - Freddie Roach
