Khan at the time was on the hunt for a new trainer. He was having sessions with various trainers, and he did talk - just a tiny bit - about the possibility of working with Roger.

roger can't see real talent even if it stares him in the eye unless the guy is slick, moves with a fancy footwork and moves his head constantly. khan wasn't that slick so he means nothing to roger and he's probably seen as a liability, someone who would be starched again easily with his glass chin. Pacquiao went shopping around for a trainer as well and was rejected by many who couldn't see his talent. i remember when Pac was tearing through the 130 lbs division and Floyd Sr. and his brother called him a clown saying he's got no talent because he "has no head movement". for some trainers, slickness is everything.

if after the KO, its just common sense, not to train someone who was exposed already, or what if he didnt see skills?

are you stupid? lol, dont tell me that's what your grandparents told you on your birthday

Roger should have made time for Amir. Amir Khan has great talent and he would have been able to teach Amir Khan some defense. Something that Freddie Roach doesn't teach well.

before the ko he was having trial sessions with roach, mcgirt, roger etc, he ended up choosing jorge rubio because the others weren't willing to leave america to train him in UK as soon as the ko happened he went straight for roach.

from how i remember it khan decided to go to america to get some training techniques and to see what it takes to be a champion. when he got there floyd was also in the gym and they trained together and in a mits session roger was picking him off and convinced him that he had to change trainer. amir came back and informed warron that he is going to change trainer and is looking for a better coach preferably from the states, he went back there and looked around. i don't know whether roger was offered the position but he picked rubio in the end.
