Huge fan of both. Pulling for JMM though. I feel Juan Diaz has about 7-8 more years of world class boxing in him. He can bounce back from a loss to JMM. Marquez could be starting to slide anytime now. He will have to reflect on what he wants to do with his carrer if he loses. Especially if he loses clearly.

Good luck to your guy. I think he's gonna get toasted in there.

Big fan of both Marquez brothers & its hard for me to root for a fighter who is flabby like Diaz is.

:patschYeah because you can tell he is a lazy underachiever.

What does his body have to do with anything??? It's not a body building contest and him being "flabby" doesnt affect him in the slightest. He has one of the highest workrates in boxing he also has very fast hands and great stamina.

JMM should be the clear favorite here, given his impressive showing in his last fight and becsue of his style, which is the perfect foil for an aggressive come-forward fighter in Diaz.

I see Diaz' high work output, which is his only strength, being limited by JMM's outstanding footwork and sharp counterpunching skills, and the difference in skills would be apparent early on. By round five, Diaz' face should be bludgeoned and much like the Campbell fight, he would realize that he could not effectively stalk JMM, and by then, it would be all JMM for a clear, decisive UD.

For Diaz to be successful, he has to force JMM to fight inside, but I doubt he has the speed and savvy to engage the proven veteran. I just don't see it.

I like Diaz to pull out an upset, but it will take a miracle for it to happen now. JMM is on a streak, and with Pac and Campbell abandoning their titles at 135, I don't see anyone in the division who can legitimately beat JMM at this point.

Fine analysis. Pretty much agreed with all. Just want Diaz to atleast do himself proud, but IMO Marquez has this all day. I hate for either one of these two to lose.

Although I think JMM and his matador looking self will end up sleighing the Baby Bull, I'm still pulling for Diaz.

As sure as the sun rises on the east, Marquez will be described as shot or old, has seen so many fights, etc. by these posters who praised him to high heavens, when he loses.
Mark my word. It happened to Morales, Barrera, dela Hoya, etc. etc.
