They can all box like ****, too, and embarrass themselves on basketball courts.

  2. When you are Carl Froch you can get away with it

Just like the middle aged fat blobs who can run 100m in crap times with no training

  4. Carl's glove's look as though they are weighted the way he throws shots, very heavy handed Froch is

But 100m is all about the time
Marathons are about endurance and the time

So its not really the same.

Covering 100m is not really impressive in and of itself. Doing 26 miles however kind of is. But many people that do marathons just plod around or even walk it - hence are not athletic imo.

Obviously im biased towards a view of athleticism that suits my strengths

wards athleticism had **** all to do with that win, the fact he is a better and smarter fighter was he won.joe fraizer sucked at the athletic challenges on that superstar show he did but he would out tough and out fight any of the dudes that beat him at the athletic challenges

What a load of illogical nonsense. This is nearly getting as bad as Michigan Warrior's 'floored'. Anyway, boxers are competing in neither the 100m or a marathon. Stamina is an aspect of boxing athleticism - that's just the way it is.

  9. Shaunster has you down Pat. You really are a dumb mutha pucka.
What events do Marathons take part in? Yeah thats right Athletics.

You using some people that do Marathons just plod around is just the most stupid piece of **** I have ever heard. So the guys/girls who finish in the top 20 or so are not athletic? I guess they can not beat each other either lol

I guess if Froch was athletic he would be the greatest fighter out there. Maybe you should give him a ring and start his training Skip Skip Skip

Everyone else saw him lift both belts too.
I'd say in the grand scheme of things that's fractionally the most important thing to consider here.
Or maybe he'll read your thoughts on the matter and realise that there's no point in carrying on.

Post a thread about Johnny Tapia and it travels to the back pages faster than it took Froch's miss to evaporate from any sensible person's memory...

And this **** gets six pages?

Shaunster,we did always say that Hagler was the black Carl Froch.

Ray has already pulled off the greatest one off fight comeback in history...City Ground...Brian Clough..jumpers for goalposts...

Ray beats Froch then meets Floyd at 158?

:happy I've always said my boy Ray is the GOAT.:bart

He has fk all. Basically its his view that being able to do a marathon = athletic. Thats just bogus. As for me being dumb thats a total joke - would you like to take some tests with me or play chess?

What you mean is you want to focus on an athletic attribute that supports your claim. Which is exactly what I'm doing and you think one side emerges victorious. Thats bull****!

Being able to do do a marathon does not equal athletic imo.

If he wants to provide a full definition of the term then Im all ears - or perhaps you could?

Froch is clumsy uncoordinated with poor balance and slow - imo not athletic enough to deserve the term attached to his name. He has endurance sure I will grant that but there are more athletic attribuites he lacks than he has - hence not that athletic.

Would you consider Andre Berto or Deontay Wilder to be athletic?
