British boxer and former Amir Khan sparring partner Billy Joe Saunders was on the wrong end of a decision (imo) early and may look to turn pro after the games. Lomachenko of course looks like he'd make a good pro. At HW maybe Timurziev will turn pro too and possibly Olexander Usyk. A lot of guys talking about it this time. Probably most of the Americans will turn pro.

In the pro's they'd call it "one for the purists" or "the sweet science". :rofl

EXACTLY what I thought watching one fight. They didn't want to get in range where a guy could 'touch' them and score. Very sad though some matches I saw more resembled boxing.

Diaz. The dominican that won gold at light welter. He had some serious talent.

Zhou Shiming? No way. That guy is a KO waiting to happen in the pro's. Slapping and running for 4 rounds is all well and good but no way he's going to handle pressure guys in the future for 10-12 rounds.

Good call. That guy looks very tough and great on the inside. Looks to carry some decent power aswell. I think he could do pretty well though not necessarily reach world-class level.

THere was a guy from Mexico that I saw. Can't really remember his name (shame on me). He didn't make it that far but it was clear that his style is much better suited for the pros than the ams
