Lol the 'head to head' was hilarious.

 

It looked absolutely horrible. Safe to say that photographs of that head to head won't feature heavily over the next two days. Talk about taking no chances with your world rating. A good sparring session would be far more worthwhile.

 

After Hearn spouting that hes the number one who is a horrendously mean puncher....he sure knows how to hype it up with with a decent opponent for him. Lol

 

I want believe the hype but Smith is being matched soft.

 

Nonsense he's fought better opponents than DeGale or Groves Did at a similar stage of their development.

 

Not sure why this fight is taking place- he'd be better served fighting a world ranked opponent as he waits for his mandatory shot.

This is an absolutely disgraceful opponent. For a mandatory challenger who has had so many devastating first round KO wins, how have the board sanctioned a fight against a midget SMW with a **** record? Ok so he's only been KO'd once. It doesn't matter. We all know he's getting massacred so what's the point. It's just a stupid dangerous fight that will end quickly in a KO. After the Blackwell situation you'd think they'd be more responsible with match-making. Smith is clearly elite ffs.

It will boost the artificial Gallagher "unbeaten" record that is usually followed by defeat in a bigger fight. I'm hoping that Callum will break this cycle but worry for him against a genuine opponent.
