Anyone still in doubt that a Prime Mosley would of tore Mayweather to bits?

    Antonio Margarito: Blame Arum

Paul Williams: Lost to Quintana, then went up to 160 where he beat Martinez and Winky Wright

everybody ducked williams and martinez even pacquiao
so your argument is truly void especially when mayweather could have beaten beaten williams, martinez went up to be a middleweight. so may wasn't obligated to fight him

    bold-false

pbf called out winky multiple times but winky wouldn't have noe of it

like how mayweather called ou prime mosley, oscar, cotto, hatton,ec and they wanted none of it

Mayweather did admit to ducking 2010 pac he said he was scared for his health against that pac

just before they fought he said it was the right time they fought

    so when Floyd wanted it

    it happened

    yes Floyd ducked Martinez

Martinez called him out live on hbo said he would go down to 154 yes 154 a weight class mayweather held a title and fought in before

Mayweather never responded infact before Martinez called him out he said that he should beat Williams then he would fight the winner that's when Sergio called him out

Prime Mosley ended in the 2nd round of the first Vernon Forrest fight. That Mosley would've been a problem for anybody. Mayweather/Judah showed that Money May could have had problems with a lot of speed. I remember betting on that fight and was worried after the first 4 rounds, maybe Mayweather would adapted against Prime Mosley but I would have liked to see that.
After the Forrest fight though, Mosley was gun shy, his punch output went down, which hurt him in the sequel and against Winky Wright. He wasn't fearless with unlimited confidence anymore after getting rocked by Forrest even though his chin is damn good, he doesn't like getting hit. That's why I put his prime before that Forrest fight that changed everything. That's why prospects are brought up carefully because they can get ruined. Mosley (granted not a prospect but a champion at that point) bounced back decently well, though it took him a while.

Far as Floyd ducking....well he does smart matchmaking to make the most cash. He could've fought what I thought would be tough bouts against fighters like Paul Williams @ 147, or gone up in weight to fight bigger fighters to see him fight like he did against Carlos Baldomir but for who's benefit? When the cash was already pouring in doing it Money Mays way there's no incentive.
I have said before but no hardcore fans want to believe it, but boxers aren't rewarded for fighting all the tough comers. Mosley is a good example, once those losses come, folks abandoned him and he was never the PPV star he wanted to be. Mosley ducked nobody, and thus fought fights he shouldn't have fought like fighting Vernon Forrest right away when he was obviously still mentally affected by being rocked in the first fight, or against Wrinky Wright at 154 twice...why? Did he get more respect and more money for those losses? No. Boxing fans, if they are honest and not full of **** would realize this, and they wonder why fighters protect that 0 in the loss column so hard. Also asking Floyd to be selfless for people that hate him, that's a joke.

    Shane didn't think so.
He declined a Mayweather fight on live TV citing a toothache.

Au contraire, I'd say I'm the verifiable voice of reason where Floyd is concerned. I made a post a while back outlining how I've rooted against him far more often than for. Yet only the haters seem to think I'm "unreasonable" or biased in Floyd's favor when that's demonstrably not true. I just don't follow the haters' party line when it comes to him.

I'm definitely not a rah-rah Floyd fan yet those who are seem more likely to say "yeah good point" when I say anything critical of him than haters are when I play Devils advocate and point out flaws in the rationale of the hatred they spew. :conf

The latter is just a more emotional and unwilling-to-compromise group.

You got a problem with backing USA fighters?

    Russians always back theirs.

    Mexican back theirs.
    Ricans back theirs
    Pinoys back theirs.

    Why can't we?

I don't favor tons of fighters over Floyd at any weight, but Shane would be one of them.

I don't think Floyd necessarily gets better as you go back. His physical attributes shine more, but his IQ developed further later in his career. 140 is probably his best weight overall, but his IQ was at it's best at 147, where his boxing skill had to shine against the bigger guys who could take his punches. Given that his IQ and boxing versatility is what gives him the edge over the other two, I think they benefit a lot from going down in weight (or back in time rather), although even at welterweight I see ways for them to beat him on their best day.

Lower weights especially benefit Shane; this isn't just a physical athlete but a well rounded beast of a boxer-puncher.
