You will never see Fedor dominated for 23 minutes!!!

And yes he was beat in 69 seconds...Submissions happen.

So Fedor is better because he lost quick and Anderson lost up until the moment he won ? Dude seriously that is the worst argument ive ever heard.

Neither one came out looking particularly great, but if I had to say one gained ground, it would be the guy who, you know, won the fight.

ok, let me fix the logic in my argument...If you add the times Silva has already been submitted with his most recent poor performance....Anyone think Silva is better than Fedor???

Fedor is the greatest ever. Anderson can come close when he retires but at the end of the day fedor will always be known as the greatest MMA fighter to ever live.

i don't understand why people had to wait for the sonnen fight to happen to ask this question. Hello ?

Yes subs happen.... But the comparison between fedor & anderson is ridiculous anyway...Two very different fighters (who don't even fight in the same weight category).

Who has dominated for 10 years? Who has beat the best of the best heavyweights in thier prime? Who only has 1 legit loss?:deal

The best fighter in the world is the one who would be the last man standing. Forget all the P4P and "if he was a heavyweight or if he was a lighter" nonsense. At the end of the day, it is who would raise thier hand at the end of the match. Between Anderson and Fedor, it would be Fedor. On any given day, any given organization, at any point in time. Fedor wins and that makes him the better of the two fighters. To say differently is to make up situations in your head and ignore logic.

seriously i have no idea how anderson ever got so over-rated and i was a big anderson fan and touting him to ufc fanz back when he was in pride.

dont get me wrong i think he is amazing NO DOUBT about it. i just dont think he is unbeatable at his current weight class let alone 205 and beyond.

personally i think he would get crushed by alot of 205lberz as well as i think he would crush a few of them . im not even talking the top guyz either. yes i could be wrong but i think more than likely after the FRANKLIN fightz the western fanz went nutz thinking silva was unstoppable. it was if he took on that persona of being unbeatable and guyz started to BUY into it. you get tentative because you fear a guy is too fast and is going to clock you your TIMING will be MESSED up with that FEAR. some guyz can make FEAR work for them i should add but most let it **** them up by second guessing themselvez.

itz the same thing for GSP now. more and more people will start talking about GSP moving up and beating silva and taking the belt. could he do it ? sure he could however i could see silva beating GSP or i could see many MWz beating GSP as well.

as far as the original question i personally think fedor would kill silva and alot of 205lberz would kill silva.

Well no, I assumed we are talking Pound for Pound lists, which account for size difference. Even then I'm only saying barely winning is better than barely losing.

I never did bite on the whole P4P thing. The reason I see it as ridiculas is because it is impossible. I just match each one up and decide who would likely be the winner.

Anderson has been fighting the toughest 185's for years now, Fedor get's a free pass because he get's away without fighting, Cain,JDS Lesnar,Carwin Overeem and even Barnett. Let Anderson keep fighting guys who are arn't the best and I bet we wouldn't be having this arguement.

I'll say it now...he won't even fight Overeem, if that fight happens I'll be surprised.

Anderson's toughest opponent in the ufc other than sonnen, has been an old Dan Henderson.

As far as your list:patsch:patsch 4 of those guys are in a different org. Overeem is a possibility and Barnett failed his drug test. Fedor has no problem fighting Cain, JDS, Lesnar, and Carwin. But, is he just supposed to take it up the ass from Dana and sign just for the sake of proving something to you?

Fights get ruined because of politics. Ever heard of the mayweaher/Pacman saga? Or the fact Tyson/Lewis was delayed so many years?:deal
