For whatever reason, punches that hit me on the chin don`t do **** in terms of damage for me. I`ve even taken shots from heavies with no problems straight on the chin. Temple shots on the other hand, always seem to rattle my brain if there is no headguard, even the lighter shots. Anyone else like that?
I can take a shot just about anywhere better than I can take one to the nutsack. Gets me every time. I can handle a shot on the *****, but the scrotum is a whole 'nother ballgame. Liver shot is close second. Hate body shots and almost never get hit with them because I take all precautionary measures.
Gives you that weird burning sensation combined with an eerie, empty feeling doesn't it? On a more serious note, I'd rather take one on the chin than to the liver.
Personally I'd rather take one almost anywhere else over a hook to the jaw, where it feels like they broke or dislocated it. Every shot after that can hurt, and itll hurt for days after if it hit right. Ive never taken a single shot to the body that has been as serious, I did take three left hooks in a row one time when I was new and the guy I was sparring was experienced. That started to really hurt by the third one. First one is like, "Oh im good", Second one was like, "Okay, dont let that happen again", Third was like, "What the ****"
Ive been boxing 4 years never even been stunned by a head shot. but them body shots holy **** they suck
Unless you're Ali, well placed bodyshots will fold any man in half. I've had my jaw dislocated and chipped teeth, blacked out momentarily, and concussions, but nothing compares to a plexus shot. Livershots are painful, late reaction might occur, but plexus shots are harder to execute and are even rarer, but you'll go down in a jiffy. Stop you in your tracks man. If you know how to land bodyshots you'll be twice the fighter in street fights too, everybody wants to headhunt.
