Anyone think a new heavyweight like tyson will come along soon

fighters like Tyson don't come along very often........

 

Tyson is to the world like Ingemar Johansson is to Sweden.

In other words, not too often.. we may never see it again.

 

Better shaped heavyweights, definitely! Makes better fights, too. It's like a dream nowadays.

The best thing about boxing and the thing that makes it more exciting than any other sport is that something or someone exciting is always around the corner.

3 years ago few fans would have rated Kelly Pavlik highly, then he was regarded amongst the best in the world and then comes the Hopkins fight.

What I'm saying is that we might not have the next Tyson on our RADAR yet but the exciting thing is that he could be out there now or just around the corner. When Ali had his last fight there was a young 15 year old called Mike Tyson about to join his nearest gym.

Of course, Heavyweight is only 1 weight division out of 17 so we are limiting ourselves. However, the next biggest boxing star is ALWAYS near.

 

life moves in cycles.... in 50 or so years i would not be surprised to see another boxer like tyson.... he might not be a replica but a devastating hw... most definitely

 

The cuban who is based in cork Mike Perez is being tipped to be a heavyweight superstar in thr making by a number of different people and his power has been compared to tysons.

Tyson was a one off, but I'm pretty sure there will be someone to carry the heavyweight torch soon enough.

A marketable, exciting heavyweight certainly makes the difference in this sport.

No one will ever be quite like Mike, but fighters with similar stayles come along like his more often then you think. They just arent as successful.

 

Forget it. There will never be another Tyson. Never be another Lewis, Holyfield, Holmes, Louis, ALi, Marciano.

We have a great new totally dominant wrecking machine now manning the heavyweight throne. In their own way the Klitschko brothers are superior to Tyson. Appreciate them all!

 

I hate the klitschcos but the dude above me is ryt. we realli need to appreciate them because wen there gone we'll just be left dewelling on how good they were and if we'd get someone like them agen.
