If he's going to beat Canelo he will do it in style. Knockdowns, TKO... the lot.

    Otherwise Canelo by decision.

I think this is gonna tell how to better measure how good Canelo is.

We know he's not elite because of the way he lost to Floyd.

We know he's a little better than average because of the way he squeaked by Trout.

    THis fight is pretty telling.

He dropped Kirkland effortlessly and punched himself out and with Lara was able to drop and hurt a highly slick technician many times, only because Angulo couldn't avoid Lara's left. Angulo has almost done a 180 as Maidana has as in improving his boxing skills and IQ and add it to his aggressive style. If both Angulo or Maidana had faster feet to cut the ring off they raise their level yet again, but have to pace themselves and know when to do it because they both suffer stamina problems. With intelligent pressure, both Angulo and Maidana can shock the boxing world. Canelo is good, but so is Angulo and his losses don't tell the whole story. I'd love to see him rematch Mandingo or Lara, he would beat both in rematches. Angulo is always improving. Bold, but not a smart move by Canelos team!

I don't think you can outright say he's not an elite fighter because he lost to Mayweather more accomplished fighters than him have been beaten worse by Mayweather. The Trout fight even though I can see it being close maybe even a narrow Trout win the only reason to me its even debatable is because Alvarez took the last rounds off after hearing the open scoring if they didn't know the scores after 8 I believe Alvarez beats hims easily and possibly stops Trout.

I'm prepared to eat my words should he lose to Angulo but i think Alvarez might be the best JMW not named Floyd right now it should be a good fight while it last but I'm leaning towards an Alvarez stoppage win.

I'm firmly believe he can become elite. But with advantages in power, 15 years of youth, 15 pounds, thats the best performance you give? Hes not elite man, i think he could be in the future.

Time will tell man. I dont even know about his chin, his heart, theres so much we dont know dude. I got Canelo Via UD though. Make sure we talk after Saturday tho, its a good topic

i think hes got a pretty good chance if he can take canelos punch. no way canelo can move for 12 rounds. hes got bad stamina.... angulo wears him down by the 8th or 9th round....

I personally can see him winning more rounds against Mayweather than a Hoya or a Cotto did I think his performance gets underrated because most thought he'd be balls to the wall when in most of his bouts he's shown he's a patient boxer that's just my opinion though.

Angulo is going to stand in front of canelo and take Canelos punches all night. He's here to make canelo look good. Angulo has no defense, canelo will tea off on him with ease. I like this fight because you know no guy is going to run, but I see canelo getting the better Angulo, he's just better defensively.
