I'm sure somebody mentioned earlier but it was one of the most bizarre and phoney things I could ever imagine happening. The guy fell on his back celebrating, puts his hands behind his back, and suddenly starts complaining about his right hand.

I couldn't see any signs of pain during the fight. Maybe his hand was hurt or he did it to himself, but it seemed like he was faking it. Sure his adrenaline was pumping but it was just hard to believe. I would like to belive the guy but it didn't look sincere.

So in the way that he addressed his injury.. Do you think it was a ploy to buy more time or a tune up before fighting Williams?

I call bull****!! The first question he was asked after the fight he immediatly brought up that he broke the hand in the first round, even though that wasnt part of the question. You dont start rolling around in agony 35 minutes after something happens.... What a piece of drek, I really liked this guy until last night....

It definitly looks fishy but look, if youve ever been in a fight, you would realize you dont feel any pain until you know its over, and your adrenaline stops rushing. I think its called flight or fight response. Anyway I severley broke my right hand beating a bully up in the hallways of my school one time, I never knew it was broken and I just kept punching. Now Im stuck with a boxers break for life. Pain does not cumpute while you are in a fight lol.

Of course he was acting. Just look at the poll. The majority of posters seem to think so too.

Does pain compute in between rounds?

Doubtful he's faking. What's the motivation to fake? Why would he pretend something really painful occurred only to come back saying it was a bruise? You guys need to get a ****in grip...

The motivation to fake is because he looked like complete **** against a 3rd tier fighter at best!

EXACTLY.. Makes no sense at all that he never winced or mentioned his hand in the corner then he rolls around almost in tears at the end of the fight and has the nerve to say he hurt it in the 1st round after the threw uppercuts and every other punch.

Oh right!! So after he just TKO's Jesse, he decided at that exact moment to 'pretend' to be hurt? How old are you...15? Or do you just have the intelligence of a 15yo?

Obviously you're the one with the intelligence of a 15 year old. If you believe he hurt his hand in the 1st round and didn't mention it to his corner or wince once during the whole fight then you're either stupid or naive. He waits till AFTER the fight to fall to the floor in agony? Then the next day he says it's only a bruise? BULL****. Believe what you want.

I believe he hurt his hand, but not in the first round. It could have been in the last round. Anyway, Kermit has thin wrists, so I'm not surprised he's hurt. Anyway, he won.

I wouldn't doubt that he faked it or at least exaggerated it.

well, if I may be technical, the fight is still on in between rounds. but Im not completly convinced about him not faking it either. In this case, I always give the fighter the benefit of the doubt, not some kid behind a computer screen.
