I swear this thread gets made before every Mayweather fight. Why are people saying Floyd sr won't let him over train? I remember Hatton sayin he thought he got over trained for the Pac fight.

Why does everyone say he's a 4 time world champion? The guy has only had interim belts and 1 ibf belt.

Exactly. For a bunch of posters who pride themselves as being knowledgable about the sport, and bitching about all the belts per division, why so many refer to anyone with a belt as World champ is beyond me. Ghost is a 4 division titlist, or as I call it, 4 divisaion top contender.

Was Floyd Sr even training Hatton? He was unprofessional with Hatton. Floyd isn't doing that with his son.

Robert isn't a 4 weight champion but to be honest you won't hear Floyd say that, he has to at least try to sell the fight!

In any case I don't think Floyd has overtrained as everyone else has said he has been doing this all his life and is the best for a reason not by chance.

Despite him being 36 Im expecting Floyd to dominate.....he is way too skilled even at this stage (I hope)

If anything he's been holding back a bit, which is probably good for his aging body, so long as he isn't sacrificing his conditioning.

When Floyd was fighting at 130 he was always near or on point with his weight a good week before the fight as well, and that of course if we remember was mostly against sheer solid opposition from Genaro Hernandez, Diego Corrales, Angel Manfredy, ****** Juko, Carlos Hernadez(who Floyd was forced to take a knee against during the fight when he fought him with two swollen hands instead of postponing the fight and a guy who would later on become champion)& Jesus Chavez, who would later on become a two-time world division champion.
