Nah. The fact that Wilder could change the fight with one punch kept me intrigued, as well as Fury taunting him
Watched it genuinely believing it was a classic but no. You make a fair point about knowing result as watching live is always better. Just thought there would be more action but left disappointed, it is what it is and if rematched would watch and avoid result before hand. Fury just doesn't do it for me but is probably the best of the bunch at present imo.
It was a gripping fight that you couldn't take your eye off for a second because of the chance of Wilder landing that huge shot.
It's fair to say I'm in the minority, will watch again in next few days to see if I'm just being contrary
You got to watch it live you dolt. The tension was there all night if Wilder would stop him with a bomb and it almost happened. Pointless going back after the fact when you know the result.
No. It wasn't boring. Two of the best HWs out there fighting each other, one is outboxing an clowning the other but still there was always the chance of a brutal knockout as Wilder is a heavy puncher and can stop opponents from nowhere with his right hand and he nearly did.
The last few round drama saved it, the first 8-9 rojnds were some of the worst I have ever watched. I had ten people in mine and there was three of us left by the end, they missed the fun rounds mind but I don't blame them for heading to the kitchen.
Living in UK I wasn't going to get up at 5am, did that in my youth but not nowadays and unfortunately before getting to see it the result was revealed to me not through my own fault, friends for you!
Not a war but a very interesting clash of styles and the tension of the KO at all times I can understand people finding it boring. I didnt find it boring but not pretending its a FOTY
