Well I felt like I got my £20's worth from the main event at least.

There were points during the bout though when the crowd was going near silent, I actually thought they might start booing, and I think the fact the fight was going almost exactly how I had expected made the fight seem a little less exciting, up till the 12th round, when in a flash it suddenly became squeaky bum time! Up until then I thought Fury was a shoe in, as I didn't believe Wilder could catch him like that.

In a weird way, I was more fascinated and glued by the Fury-Wlad fight, even though it was a worse fight, because I just didn't know what was going to happen!

It had to be watched live to really appreciate the drama of the fight unfold. Its like watching any sporting event cup final, you have to watch it live to take in the tension and magnitude.

Not boring at all. A brilliant chess match, a brilliant technical boxer vs a murderous puncher. This will always keep you on the edge of your seat

I thought he could have countered more when Wilder threw his missing Haymakers. He did a nice little combo at one point and Wilder look a bit stunned or disallusioned. Not a Fury fan but when he shows he's ready he looks good but just doesn't show it very often and clowns around.

Maybe it's because not been sleeping well last few days and fatigued that not overly impressed, another viewing is paramount.

Most go back a few years as did not watch much the Klit era until Fury beat him. I admit I watched to see Fury get beat, boy was I wrong, fight was rubbish but he won the title.

Joshua v Povetkin held my interest more

Dillian Whyte vs AJ and Chisora
    AJ vs Klit

are recent ones in memory and if looking for a good heavyweight from past in good fights Bert Cooper is a good view. Don't keep lists or do rankings etc, pointless imo. Also not as diehard as I used to be so tend to watch the big fights, more a casual these days.

I understand what you're saying, it wasnt a classic but I think the way Fury handled Wilders power was surprising and made it "exciting".

I didn't think he'd get up if Wilder hit him flush but he did, the scorecards were controversial so that is more talking points, more discussion, more arguments.

I think there were and are a lot of talking points and people get a little over excited, both sets of fans will feel justified in claiming their man won.

So both sets of fans will convince themselves these two are so good that the fight was good but let's not forget Wilder fans said Fury was a fat loud mouth who will be knocked out and Fury fans said Wilder couldn't box and will get schooled.

Neither things really happened but Fury was dropped and Wilder was outboxed.

I believe a lot of Heavyweights wouldn't be overly impressed or worried about fighting either of them.

Fury would be more of a challenge because his awkward style but neither of them struck fear in to the division last night, both have flaws and both can and will be beaten.

Joshua Povetkin? Seems an odd choice. I found that a fairly tame watch. More interesting than a number of other Joshua fights - Parker, Takam were much much less fun - but not that entertaining.

You watched the fight knowing who won. Watching the fight live was brilliant. It was just a fight that kept you on the edge of your seat, mainly because you knew one punch could change it. Amazing fight.

Yeah my post was confusing, just found it more interesting than last night's fight, cetainly no classic. Maybe I'm stuck in the 90's when quite a few fights were pretty good in one the greatest era's of heavyweight boxing with Mercer, Lewis, Bowe, Golota, Tyson, Holy, Moorer, Cooper, Foreman, Morrison etc etc.

Like I say gonna rewatch but as other's have stated watching when you don't know the result is much better, unfortunately got to know result before viewed fight

Was better than I expected when you consider Fury is a bit of a spoiler and Wilder usually does very little until he lands a bomb.

The first 8 rounds were too one sided but you always knew Wilder was dangerous even when be easily out boxed and so the tension made it entertaining. The last 4 rounds were very entertaining though. Knockdown in the 9th, Fury dominated the 10th and 11th and then of course Fury's being resurrected from the dead in the 12th and hurting Wilder.

I would like to see another angle when he was on floor as it looked like he was watching ref when camera did show his eyes although Fury did say he didn't know how he got up in time.

No good fight was on the edge of my seat, we'll worth 20 nicker but hey that's what happens when you fork out and watch it live. Not knowing the result

Some people will never be happy. They're usually the ones who have their mind made up before a punch is thrown.
