    66!?? Haha I was stretching it saying I thought you and Mendoza were like maybe 20 at a push haha

    Yeah he fought a couple of fights at Nottingham near me I think but some old geezer propping up the bar at my old local (about 20 years ago) told me about him going in there a few times back in the day aswell as showing up at the local dog track aswell - just said he was the size of a barn door haha

    Gains worked down on the Isle of Grain on the original contract. My Dad knew him slightly, said he was a very nice guy.
    When I spoke to him he said Dempsey was fearsome, I remember asking him about Carnera, he just laughed.

    he was totally irrelevant to Louis career?
