Anyone think Kessler could be struggling to make the weight?

Just read over at the scene that Clev reckons it's a 50/50 fight. Would be interesting to know for sure what he thought about the Kessler sparring. Groves said after sparring Kessler he definitely favours one over the other but wouldn't say which. People seemed to assume he meant Kessler. Hmmm

    Here's the interview.

Yeah, I got the subtle impression Groves was leaning towards Kessler even though he didn't really give any indication one way or another.

My one worry was that Kessler may possibly be a little weigh drained but he looked good at the weigh-in so am fully aboard him beating Froch now.

Stylistically I think Kessler is worse for Groves than Froch, with his superior foot speed etc.

Difficult to read too much into it.

I'm starting to question Froch's nerves, though we've seen before that sometimes feeling threatened suits him. Against Bute it certainly did.

I was at the weigh in earlier. Got there a bit early and all the fighters (except Froch) came out about 40 mins early to weigh themselves on stage before the official weigh in. Chilemba, Bellew, Groves etc were all pretty relaxed about it, but first out was Kessler and him and his team looked ****ing delighted when he'd weighed himself. He stripped right off as well, fortunately behind a towel! I know he came in well under but it does make you think how hard he had to work to get down to it.

That said, he looked more relaxed than Froch at the weigh in and head to head...

Great to see so many people there today. Atmosphere was great :D

No - he looked in tremendous shape as always. But they were out well early for a test weigh (if that's the right term) and they were clearly pleased/relieved when it was apparent his weight was alright. He was getting stuck in to the water after he'd made weight.

He seemed really pumped on stage - when froch was giving him the verbals he wasn't phased at all...anything but in fact...
