It seems as the economy gets worse, PPV gets more expensive. What would be a fair price? I think $25 would be fair. With that price there would be many more fans buying the fight. As it is, everyone gathers are on house to split the costs, if it were lower, that would not be necessary. Any thoughts?
agreed, 25 would be 100% amazing. But when you break it down....it costs 15 bucks to see a ppv hockey game...that means nothing
EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. But the diehard fan idiot of me will always shell out the cash. But i dont go down myself i always drag people down with me to chip in whether they like boxing or not.
Current PPV prices are a highway robbery fleecing. They factor greatly into whether or not someone purchases the fight. Especially when the cable provider has the stupid rule that you can't order if your past due bill is above a certain amount  People would still gather at other people's houses to watch(especially if they have the big screen tv/surround sound hook up along with good snacks and drinks and a minimum of dumbasses)
I used to spend way too much on PPV, until I got wise, but many times I still order a fight at the last minute, that's the reason for 24/7, it gets fans pumped up and by fight time they can't help themselves. Pac/Cotto fight is a huge fight, could be a real war. I think it will be exciting, but I had better get off this subject before I order the fight.
Boxing is starting to have less PPV's so I think it's fair to a point. HBO has a monopoly of sorts with big fights so the prices probably aren't going to lower.
I wish they were playing it at the theater, the Marquez-Mayweather fight was amazing!(maybe not the fight itself, but watching it at the theater)
Yeah, like the old closed circuit days. Closed circuit was so exciting, the crowd would get so pumped up, was like being at ringside, only you could see better.
I did 25 Bucks for "Valubum-Haye" last week, but I'll be passing on "Packy-Cotto" right here...... I'll catch the HBO replay next week........ thumbsup:hat MR.BILL
