Anyone think that Matchroom and Sauerland could possibly merge/work together?

    Both Eddie and Kalle seem very similar and seem to get on fairly well. Could they possibly merge together/be a co promotional company? Matchroom do the UK stuff, Sauerland do the European stuff and they could work together tring to get a foothold in America and the rest of the world. Could it possibly work?

    No, the German & UK markets are very different but its promising for potential fights happening in the future.

    Different crowds for a start, British are generally louder & more passionate/drunk & the Germans seem to be more civilised & better behaved.

    Germany loves their ringwalks, generally have excellent production values & often have fights in massive arenas & stadiums with live music. It seems like more of an entertainment event than a purely sporting occasion.

    Germany does seem to focus on only a few weight division (middleweight & upwards) whereas in Britain there is more interest (relatively) in the lower weight classes.

    I do think they have a good working relationship, they let Groves fight on one of their cards. Just think if the two need to negotiate, it wouldn't be too strained.

    Can see Jumah fighting on a Matchroom card at some point in the future.
