Anyone think Vitali's toughest fight would be Tyson Fury?

Wasn't saying Fury would beat Vitali, rather replying to orginal post and 'Vitaly best H2H HW' phrase. Although Fury's size and style would give some isuess to almost every heavyweight in history.

Well, Klitschko. And should have Wilder on his Résumé not a draw. That pretty much trumps Vitali

beating old Klitschko isnt much though. he wasnt all that when prime for goodness sake.
Vitali Fury, both prime , is even.

I know I am in the minority and that is cool, but I scored Wilder vs Fury a draw as well. And beating an old Wlad is a solid name but not the greatest win (although still impressive). I don’t say this to denigrate Fury as I think he gives a tough night to any great win or lose. He is not an easy nights work for anyone.

Also outside of Vitali fanboys (and I only know of one in classic), I would say he (both K brothers really) tends to get underrated on the whole.

At their best I would lean towards Vitali but no sure thing either way IMO

That's fair. I could see a draw but I have it by 3 points for Fury, but that Win over Wlad repressented a passing of the Torch for Fury, which Lewis was for Vitali, and we know what happened there, and it was no where near as one sided as Fury-Wlad

My card for Fury Wilder was

    1.Wilder 10-9
    2. Fury 19-19
    3 Fury 29-28
    4. Fury 39-37
    5. Fury 49-46
    6. Fury 59-55
    7. Fury 69-64
    8. Even 79-74
    9. Wilder KD 87-84
    10. Fury 97-93
    11. Fury 107-92
    12. Wilder KD 115-112

Took me a while to find my card

    1 Fury (10-9)
    2 Wilder 10-9 (19-19)
    3 Fury 10-9 ( Fury 29-28)
    4 Wilder 10-9 (38-38)
    5 Wilder 10-9 (Wilder 48-47)
    6 Fury 10-9 (57-57)
    7 Fury 10-9 (Fury 67-66)
    8 Fury 10-9 (Fury 77-75)
    9 Wilder 10-8 (85-85)
    10 Fury 10-9 (Fury 95-94)
    11 Fury 10-9 (Fury 105-103)
    12 Wilder 10-8 (113-113)

113-113 I had Fury winning 5 of the final 7 rounds...but the 2 KD’s were the equalizer on my card

That's not a bad card, as I said I could see a draw

That’s funny that you think it is fair! I get more flack in general forum for this than I do for this than for my cards from Canelo vs GGG. But it’s all good. I just don’t like that some people (not you) call every decision they don’t like a robbery or a gift.

I know. However I do think the first GGG fight was a robbery. But I only say that because the 118-110 card was a joke.

Oh I agree that was a very bad card (Canelo Mayweather as well), but I also agree with the judges and had it a draw.

Well here’s me thinking a heavyweight called Lennox Lewis gave the H2H beast all the trouble he could handle and beat him.
Prime Ali would dance rings round him and embarrass him.

I really like Fury but think he is grossly over rated .. I think he loses badly to Bowe, Lewis and either Klitschko in their primes ..

Vitali was an engaging boxer who likes to throw a lot of punches. Fury would be on the move, and could not take his shots over the course of the match.

Vitali fought many fast boxers types in Larry Donald, and Kevin Johnson, between them maybe they won three rounds.

Depending on what shape Fury is in, he might last the distance.

While Fury, Wilder, and Joshua are the three best, for now, the series between them reads just one draw. With the money they are making, we might never see them round-robin each other, which is why heavyweight boxing in the top ten today sucks.

The good news is there is a rising bunch of hard-hitting contenders two years away from the wold scene that will put the action back into the division.

    Good evaluation.
Some say his shoulder injury in the Byrd-Fight came late, what should tell you how he did against a much smaller, but good moving fighter. And to be honest, he did not look that impressive in there, but the judges had him well ahead on points. A much bigger quick man in Fury giving him all he could handle is very valid.
Other big good moving heavys, like Tyrell Biggs (power vulnerable) or Tony Tucker should to do a good job in there too.
