Anyone thinks Garcia will give Khan a tough fight, possibly beat him?

outwork khan? Khan is the outworker. thats what hes known for.

 

Khan has a habit of making things difficult for himself. If the fight reaches the latter stages and Garcia remains in good nick, it could get interesting. I have a feeling Khan's conditioning will be below par.

This fight would be more interesting if they made Garcia JR and SR a tagteam and we could see both get KTFO

No doubt khan starts off hot,but then he goes into a slump and his opponents adapt,khan isn't a superb boxer,if he was he would wouldn't have got beating up by maidana like he did.

Yeah. I think the Peterson fight -- with the way he was being bullied by the stronger guy -- has encouraged him to beef up a bit. In his training pics he's looking top-heavy, and I'm wondering whether he's sacrficed his speed and stamina for it :think? I see his upper body being as stiff as ever - which could spell trouble as he's rushing in or going back out, because Garcia will be looking to time him in both instances. The Khan in the Zab Judah fight would walk through him, but the Khan in the McCloskey/Peterson bouts could play into his hands.

 

I think him doing weight training will make him lose his speed and his arms heavy,especially in the later rounds.

The guy is not body building. He is doing explosive olympic wight lifting which will complement his speed.

I love how ppl see some muscle development and automatically assume a fighter will slow down etc

Him slowing down sooner, is just a hunch. Not saying it most definitely will happen. There's a strong possibility that you're right and his speed and stamina may remain the same. But I just have a feeling it won't. If it goes to the latter rounds and he hasn't at least hurt Garcia, I think he may experience a bit of trouble. But if he doesn't, then fair play to him.

 

How would Khan be ****ed? His loss to Peterson was bull**** and I think Garcia is a good fighter, personally.

He wouldn't then get the elite fight he wants, but he would still be in big fights.
