XYLOCAINE!lol jk It's a shame people do resort to PEDs,etc. and some fighters such as RJJ have been caught but I like to think of what good they did in the ring. Does bring questioning in their careers though.

If you count bodyshots..Shane won...Oscar was holding on for dear life in that bout.

I thought bodyshots & big power punches helped make the fight close but he didn't throw enough throughout the whole bout. What was your score for the fight?

It is sad, but I wouldn't be relatively shocked if over 50% of the top boxers used or use currently.

I wouldn't be shocked either but I hope that's not true, I plan on being a boxer.

Yeah I really enjoyed the fight, not as much as the first one mind you. Then again looking back I wouldn't have expected it to be so, considering I never thought Shane should have fought at 154, and I'm still unsure whether de la Hoya should have moved up that far.

Don't they strip Olympic medal from athletes if it come out later that they used PEDS ?

I had it for Oscar by FIVE points. I don't even understand how anyone can think this fight was even close, never mind score it to Shane.

I believe so, but it's not like championships in pros. Where they pass from fighter to fighter. When someone whens a medal, thats there medal forever.

I recently saw the 1st Mosley & Oscar and when I look at that fight ,Floyd would have still beaten him and much worst ,Shane still fights the same ,no jab and still gets tired after the 8 round. When I hear Threads about Shane would have beaten Floyd so many years ago ,its bogus....this dude still fights the same way which is why I think he may loss his next fight.

    :goodThanks

I can see how you could have him up depending on how you scored rounds because it was a close fight.

It was close lol. Some rounds could've gone either wasy it wasn't a dominating performance but Mosley's inactivity didn't help him.

Shane was faster then and not as much of a slugger as he is now. To say Mosley has no jab isn't accurate. Now I'm not saying he is Quartey but he had some success with it in his career and people forget that but the problem is he uses it to find range most of the times. In the past, both fighters would be faster but a younger Mosley would've been a more dangerous opponent.

I thought he won 7-5. close fight, hard to score IMO. I just thought he landed the more meaningful punches and actually won specific rounds, although DLH won his rounds bigger.

Great way to say it. I too thought Mosley landed the harder punches and did more damage but he just wasn't active enough for me. I also agree that it wasn't the easiest fight to score because both guys were effective at close rounds and I score for effectiveness.
