Anyone thought Mosley actually won the second DLH fight?

Now you can question where Evander Holyfield has used PED's or not, but that I know of he's never tested positive for any performance enhancer, and if thats so, you should take him off the list of fighters you jotted down that have been caught.

You're right, he has not been tested caught but he was caught on the Balco list..

"Evan Fields" same address, same phone number, they called, he answered...

It's quite obvious Holyfield was on something, wasn't there a report that he always lost quite a bit of weight after fights and had to rebulk the weight back on ?

.......as for the Mosley-DLH rematch, the majority of those fans who watched the fight live at the Arena and which included the immediate boxing media covering the fight there, left there believing the UD verdict for Shane Mosley was just.

......now the majority of those who had a broadcast team telling them who the audience should know is winning the fight (primaritly HBO) they were outraged, just like the broadcast team, that Mosley was given the verdict.

I watched it at home and kept shaking my head in disbelief and talking back to the TV screen at how wrong they were calling the fight.

I had Mosley in a competitive fight winning through landing the harder and more telling blows through each round.

Those at ringside are witnesses to the significant value Mosley's connects had over DLH's.
Mosley's shots were significantly harder and crisper, and DLH was heard to have been continually grunting while absorbing the Mosley punishment.

There is a case to be made that Mosley cheated, but in the ring, the judges imo scored the fight correctly.

I had Mosley winning the first fight 116-112, and the rematch 115-113.

As divac noted, most of the people scoring the fight press row had the fight 115-113 for Mosley (I believe it was something like 19 of 27 members scoring) and all three judges had it that way.

It was a close fight, and if De La Hoya had gotten the nod, I could have seen that, but I honestly thought Mosley won.

I may be wrong, but this Evansfield story I dont believe was with Balco, but some other doctor of sport medicine office that was under investigation.

As for his weight, muscle weighs more than fat, so when Holyfield was resting and not training for a specific fight, he eased off the weight training, thus he would lose a few lbs.
For a Heavyweight like Holyfield who's not a big Heavyweight by modern standards, I dont think its unusual that a fighter who's always liked to keep himself in shape even when he did'nt have a fight scheduled......would then add weight when he intensified his training.

You're right, it was considered the east coast Balco.

    Games on, be back later!

I first watched it and had it for DLH. I was drunk and rooting for DLH. When I watched it again later and sober, I scored it for Mosley.
