no not one dimsenional, but he's no more versatile then a handful of other fighters I could name.

I think were getting into semantics though. I see all fighters as having their own style, but some are more versatile then others. But I guess saying they have multiple styles is basically the same thing.

Rubbish. You have nothing to base this on other then your disliking of Pac. The irony is, you are trying to sell yourself as something OTHER then just a fan, trying to point to gym time and what not , yet Pac must have not learned anything, despite more gym time then you'll ever know, and being a ****in pro half his life. Give me a break. Guess that means all the gym time you put in, any # of fights you have, doesn't mean you actually know anything. Nice way to prove yourself wrong.

On one hand, you try to act like the unbiased, knowledgable poster. Then you make obviously ridiuclous posts that are nothing more then wind ups.

Well Manny obviously shows he can't think for himself when it comes to picking his fights. Manny is smarter than I give him credit for, but his ring IQ isn't up there with the greats or anything. Freddie Roach is the mastermind of that team

he's fighting a southpaw. That calls to fight a "different style" . And I'm not disagreeing that floyd is versatile. We're just arguing semantics.

I agree with you about the jab, jab to the stomach, lead hook, right lead, counter right, then rolls under after the right hand. He gets redundant. I've seen all of his fights and I know his favorite moves

Good post and whilst I agree to an extent that he is not unbeatable....I think you are clearly underrating his skills.

Floyd's defense is probably the best over the last 10-15 years. You can look at the statistics and they back it up - Shane Mosley, JMM, ODH, and Ricky Hatton all elite fighter struggled to land clean punches on Floyd. In those three fights I can only remember around 3 hard punches landing on Floyd.

His power is seriously underrated. He has enough to make fighters with great chins hesitate. De la Hoya was shaken up in their fight with big gloves up at 154. SSM was backing up for the latter part of their fight. He floored JMM with a single shot. I think we can all agree he hit hard at the lower weights as evidenced w/fights with Chico, Hernandez and Chavez. Coupled with his accuracy he can floor people and hurt people with single shots.

I agree on the accuracy point and when matched with his speed mean that he does not need to throw combinations. If pushed I believe he would throw combinations but no one has pushed him for him to feel the need to do that. He clearly can throw the combinations look at the Hatton, Gatti, Hernandez fights - clearly capable but rarely needs or requires to do it.

    Thanks

    Khan beats Mayweather

This is where these topics get ridiculous... you think a great fighter like Mayweather gets beaten by Khan who has never done anything to suggest he could pull something like that off.

Mayweather would kill Khan at this point in time... and probably at any point in time. Far more skilled, stronger, faster, hits harder, more intelligent

Mayweather is a top 50 ATG, what kind of dumb thread is this. You're so blinded by the fact that you want to prove Mayweather fans wrong and see him lose, the reason he's so popular is because of people like you :(

Can you name a more complete fighter that's fighting right now? In terms of athletic ability, punching accuracy, ring IQ, defense, quickness, etc? I mean he is the most complete, refined product on the market. It's not to say he can't be beat, everyone can be beat, but he is the most skilled fighter in the world. I understand being tired of hearing it, but it doesn't make it any less true.

Kahn would agree with you, as he said he's not ready for PBF, but who needs facts when fiction is so much more fun...right?
