Anyone tired about hearing how skilled Floyd is?

It just sucks because the self proclaimed #1 P4P of all time won't fight. It's frustrating. Recently in an interview he said he didn't fight Margarito because he knew something was fishy with him.

There has been this undercurrent of "the board is getting worse etc etc", if you want to see an example of what people are referring to, simply read the post quoted, that's all you need to know. Just litering the board with stupidity, and non sense.

Dude, if you want to say he's ducking Pac, fine, I disagree but whatever. To say he ducked Cotto when it's known that Arum didn't think Cotto was ready, and there was never even a real discussion about it. There were rumblings but when did this duck take place, who was Floyd fighting instead, etc. As far as Margo, I don't think he knew anything but it was a stupid fight to take at that time, he could make more money, win the lineal WW title, and have less risk facing Baldomir who some claimed PBF was ducking. Bottom line, PBF fights who he wants, he's faced many of the great boxers of his era, and this **** about him ducking Cotto or Margo is laughable.

IF he's not that good the you get in the ring and beat him .. :patsch

WTF the man has dismantled and out box top rated fighter weather you want to admit it or not. Almost beating floyd is not beating him, any one can come close question is can you win..
Pac expose Floyd ???? are you ****ing nuts? marquez showed that Pac make lots of mistake when facing a boxer, but his physical ability speed bails him out ..
The reason floyd gets praises for his skill because he is a skilled fighter.. for you to say that floyd is not good leads me to believe, you're just doing this to get attention ..

also speed is not a skill ? ask yourself this would pac be the same fighter if he did not have speed. ? Floyd on the other hand would still be a skilled fighter with or with out speed.

Well in boxing, that's why you fight the fights. So Mayweather gets his knocks for not fighting the fights. Even if we say "Floyd would have beaten Cotto, Clottey and Margarito too". The fact of the matter is that he did not and Manny did.

However, it's easy to pick apart his defense and offense on paper and say he's predictable. However dealing with it in the ring is a whole different reality. Just like saying it's easy to take advantage of Manny's not so great defense and thinking you can just catch him coming in or beat him with movement. However it's completely different once you step into the ring.

Sometimes people think fighters have "MANY" different "styles". Manny doesn't have many different "styles". He's a volume puncher with speed. Floyd is a counter puncher. Ali was a boxer.

However at times fighters are forced to adjust their style. Manny doesn't switch between being a "boxer" and a "brawler" in the course of a fight. He either slows down his punch output or turns it up.

Every fighter goes in that ring and does "their thing". They do what comes naturally to them. They just adjust how fast, when and how much they do it.

Floyd has shown that he can apply pressure when needed. He's shown he discipline to focus on movement and counter punching when needed. He's shown where he needs to open up at times when needed.

You may fight and beat 3 guys with your left jab. However one fighter you may need to throw 50 speedy jabs around, another guy you may need to throw 10 good power, counter jabs a round, and another guy you may need to paw with an average jab. While they are all still left handed jabs, you use them differently.

That's what Floyd does with his arsenal.
