May be quicker, if not cheaper to fly to Aarhus with Ryanair and then drive to Herning? or what about from hamburg or Kiel?

Really hope it gets switched. Booked flights already flying back at 10am on the sunday morning, no way that I can get back to Copenhagen from Herning in time. This looks bad on the Super 6 tournament if they are allowed to do this, almost as bad as Ward being allowed to fight in his front room everytime.

Hennesey needs to grow a pair and sort this out, bet Warren would get it in Copenhagen!

You say that, but I've often found the best nights are usually in the smaller places, especially if the birds aren't used to seeing foreigners!!

I'm booked in Copenhagen already (one and only time i get organised!!)

But will be hiring car for road trip to Herning, so may be couple of spare seats for some petrol money if anyone is interested nearer the time - fingers crossed they revert to Copenhagen.

I think Froch will just have to swallow this and fight in Herning. I don't really see he has much choice if the Danes did their heels in. Froch would lose a fortune if he refused to fight, which isn't going to happen.

I think it extremely doubtful the fight will be switched to Copenhagen which would also be a smaller arena by 500 seats

500 seats! big deal. The way Kessler was going on they were going to have to fight it in the cellar of a pub in Copenhagen.

    You spoiled little brats. :yep

Only Brits seem to think it a right and not a privilege to be able to easily follow your man around when he's on someone else's turf. FFS, when boxers come to the UK they don't typically bring droves with them - their fans sit and cheer them on from their living rooms! :patsch

It's called home advantage for a reason. The local guy's fans are supposed to vastly outnumber the visitor's (if there even area any). It's the same way for visitors to the UK - they have to face down a mostly (or entirely) hostile environment unless their faithful are willing to trek along with them through hell or highwater. Why do different standards apply here, exactly? Why is it suddenly of critical importance that the visitor's fans be accomodated - hardly a long-standing tradition?

As most US fighters don't know where their passports are then I would say that your coments are chutzpah of the highest order :D...the situation facing Froch fans is not one normally faced by stay at home Yank ones :thumbsup

Sounds like it is 90% Herning so I've just reserved a hotel there.

Fecking hell I'm not looking forward to breaking it to my two pals who agreed to come on this trip because "Copenhagen is a great night out" ....

Haven't decided whether to hire a car or get the train yet. Someone said the train was £80 return so a hire car will probably be cheaper among the three of us. Limits drinking though :think

I'll be keeping a hawk eye on the next showtime Fight camp 360 to see just how much sway Hennesey has had in these negotiations. I'm guessing it will be reminiscent of "Yo Blair"
