Strange fight this although i have seen limited footage of Uzelkov he seems to be the favorite. Most people are comparing them with Campillo who Imo should have the W over Shumenov twice. While Uzelkov dealt with Campillo within 6. Another case of fighter A, beats B but not C or is Uzelkov a step above both? Not the best of cards but the main has my interest.
Yeah should be a good one. I havn't seen Uzelkov but I was very impressed by Campillo's skills so if he does prove to be a level above him rather than a fluke result it should be interesting.
Yup, I'm up. Still basking in the reflected glory of Gary Russell jrs 1st round demolition of a former world champion.....
im up for the rico ramos fight anyway. One of my favourite prospects. dont know if ill watch the main event
Uzelkov is not what I expected. He's no Kotelnik. Looks like a pressure type. Doesn't look anything immediately special, surprised he beat Campillo but must have power.
The Campillo fight is the only stuff i have seen of Uzelkov and he dealt with him well, even made finishing him look easy. I like Shumenov but i'm not sure if he has the ability to make world level yet after Campillo making him look terrible at times. I know its great with hindsight but i thought Shumenov was being managed perfectly but Campillo looked like the biggest banana skin you could pick for a young fighter. Both come to fight so hopefully it's a war tonight.
yeah I will be staying up to watch. I'm more intrigued actually. I haven't actually seen Shumenov yet but I have read about him, and it appears to be mixed reviews. A title holder after only 10 fights, whilst the best in the division is a interim champ?! I need to see this guy and see for myself what he has to deliver. From what I've read on here he's nothing special, then again from other posts and reviews I've read elsewhere his 1st defeat was meant to be a good fight which he avenged and became champ. Should be interesting, I notice Uzelkov beat Campillo by KO as well.
Before the Campillo fight almost all of the forum were swinging from his nuts with the level of competition he had beaten so early. Think it is Gaz not to much to talk about on the undercard maybe gayrat Intentional Butt has been talking about his power lately so hopefully it shows
He would beat Nani in a Nani look a like competition Utd were looking at him before they signed Nani never seemed to progress from when he was 20 or so.
Is he a winger or a striker generally? His goalscoring record is good for a winger but not so good for a striker.
Striker the time Utd tried to sign him he may have changed though, always looked a bit small to me for a striker. I seen Jao Muntinho pissed off to Porto not a bad signing for them him and Raul mierles would be a nice midfield. I've been addicted to Raul since the world cup thought he looked very good.
