Anyone want Monte Barrett to win..

No. Haye is the FUTURE of British boxing, or at least the heavyweights.

 

I am disgusted by this.

It is the British mentality to hate success. To knock people that are at the top and believe in themselves, and know that they are the best.

I dont share that mentality.

I want Haye to take the head off every HW out there and become the undisputed HW champion. Not because he is British, but because he has the winning mentality and the skills to get the job done.

There is still a small question mark over whether he can take a HW punch, that will be answered in this fight because Barrett always takes risks and lands his own shots no matter who the opponent.

 

Nope I hope Haye wins, a British fighter would have to be a real PITA for me to not want him to win.

 

The only guy that comes to recent memory is Amir Khan.

 

I know what you are getting at, Barrett seems like a decent guy with his head screwed on right, but i still want Haye to win because he can inject some excitement into the heavyweight division...plus i do not want to read a frank warren article if haye were to lose.

 

I didn't mind him TBH, I think he's just a bit thick...

I'm not one of these haters........................I will not be willing Haye to fail.

However I understand your instincts about Haye and Lewis Hamilton.

A person might talk and behave in a text book good way (Lewis Hamilton) but somehow at a deeper level you sense a bit of a **** there.

To be honest - I never thought bad of Hamilton until you raised the issue
But you are probaly right - go with your instincts - they sense things on a deeper level than your logic mind

As for Haye .....................I dont think Haye is a text book ****

He is just a ......................****.........................sometimes a TOTAL ****

He loves himself

He poses in Male Model Stances

He has Glamour Women around him..............to validate his Playboy Status

And he thinks he is the best at everything

He is a KNOB

If he gets knocked out..............I woudnt give a SHITE

However I wont be dying to see him lose either

I want him to fight WLAD and Vitali

so he has to get past Monte

However if MONTE were to KO Haye.................Good for MONTE

If Haye KO's MOnte....................Good for Haye - now fight the Kiltishkos

If he fights the Klitshkos then yes - I would like to see Haye be humbled at this point .................and have his arse handed to him

Vitali will KO him.............I'm very confident of that

If the fight takes place next year

Vitali will KO

It was enjoyable to see Carl Thompson beat Haye.........as Haye was super loving himself back then too

He has recovered well from that............and his ego has swelled again

Some will say.....................****ing hell whats your problem............a person is confident in himself and talks himself up , etc, etc

Yes that is the way of boxing

But it is on a deeper level..............that you cant really explain too deeply in words.................that explains wether you like or dislike someone

Haye is a **** thats my opinion

He is OK at times...........but the underlying feeling is............this guy is a a KNOB

 

Ahmen- in Khan's case he was the hype job to end all hype jobs, and being told he was something else really pissed everyone off.

Back to topic, the last time I checked.

You win nothing for being a nice well rounded guy.

You win because of your talent, your training and what you do in the ring.

I judge a fighter solely on that.

Sometimes the most successful people are not very nice human beings (in Haye's case arrogant), sometimes that is part of their success.

Everytime Monte has taken the step up he has failed.

The HW division needs Haye.


Haye is going to stop Barrett.

 

I think that part of this hate for Haye is jeaolousy here. Jeaolous of his money, his looks and his women, and the fact he boasts about it. People need to get over it. Judge him on what he does in the ring.
