Do you sometimes read my friend?

You ain't gonna tell me that you're so stupid you still haven't understood that Floyd makes/made way more money fighting Oscar a second time, fighting hatton at Wembley, or fighting big show.

COTTO DOESN'T BRING ENOUGH $ ON THE TABLE FOR FLOYD. What's so hard to understand about that? You ain't gonna tell me you haven't found out yet that the only thing Floyd cares about is money right??

As a homo-sapiens you have a well developed brain my man, use it sometimes.

    DUCKING :patsch  OMG.

Mayweather kicked ass and beat the odds several times in his career.. his personality and out of the ring life mean nothing compared to all the guys he beat in the ring...

Oh yes . . . he's still the most skilled fighter in the modern history of the sports . . . but he definitely doesn't have balls.

He looked like ****? I had Castillo beating him in the 1st, he obviously aquitted himself in the 2nd suggesting that he was injured in the 1st.

Who did he look like **** against?

Floyd's run at 135 was very unimpressive from my POV. He didn't accomplish more than splitting a pair with Castillo.

Let me clarify what I am asking him, its more about his h2h potential at the weight and not so much about resume (which many would agree with you). Usually when people say he looked this way or that way I interpret it as how he looks on film for h2h comparisons.

Floyd Mayweather Jr is a great fighter a top 40 ATG and perhaps the best 130lb fighter ever.

In saying that he should have fought Miguel Cotto, in my opinion.

It's a sad day. Who knows how much time before a fighter with the talent and skill of Mayweather appears.

Undefeated, with one of the best defenses ever, with a pretty ****ing good resume, the GOAT at 130, one of the few boxers with 3 lineal titles in 3 weight classes, a 5-division beltholder, etc.

He should've fought Cotto, though. And he could've fought Mosley and Casamayor. Tszyu was old as hell and losing against Hatton, and Margarito is a nobody. Mayweather should've fought Cotto, and could've fought Mosley and Casa. Those three fights would have made his resume one of the best of all times. However, he is a HOF and an ATG.

I give him credit. He is a good fighter; but I will never consider him great because he didn't fight the people he should have.

Of course I know that but his style hasn't changed THAT much either, it's still the same but in another division where he clearly looks far more comfortable. The Shane fight and only that one was good proof that he's doing really good in this division and Shane was 35 years old in a close tough fight. You honestly think that PBF won't have answers even to this version of Cotto?, because let's face it, PBF is hardly easy to beat as well. I do agree that there are too many questions really difficult for both of us to happen which makes this fight a must for boxing but still if the man chooses retirement because he admits that there is no motivation for him to continue then he's dead serious especially when everyone claimed he's only "money" and he ditched Oscar's huge rematch offer.
