First time seeing him against Sturm, seems to be a decent fighter deserves to rank 2nd in the division I think based on wins ove two titleist away from homes. Seems be wiling to fight anyone even in their hometowns so fights against the top fighters against him are easy to make.
I'll admit I haven't too much of him. First saw him dismatleing Karmazin which was a very good performance because Karmazin is hard as nails. Glad to see he has some fans.
Geale vs Murray/Macklin/Barker/Lee would all be competitive fights. Geale may fancy one of these instead of Golovkin.
Mundine beat him, Geale is good but not great. He has a good attitude though to the sport and deserves praise for how far he has come.
He's earned my respect by twice travelling across the world to a champions home town and taking the belts from them. If more fighters had Geales mentality boxing would be a healthier sport. Hopefully he can earn some good money in his next few fights, he deserves it.
I was ringside for Geale V Mundine and went as a Mundine fan but I really think Geale got a poor decision. Mundines breathers via his constantly undoing wraps was blatant cheating also imho.
