Huh? But Marquez needs to be careful against Pacquiao anyway. He's certainly not going to stand in front of Pacquiao, forget defense, and punch it out. Mostly everyone who was on this forum the night Marquez fought Jaurez gave him credit for the performance. I can mind reading someones post which said along the lines of "Marquez was brilliant tonight, he took Juarez apart like a surgeon"

Any fighter who has an up and coming fight needs his last showing examined to a certain degree.

i just thought that both of them could have finished business but opted not to. jmm was very successful in that fight. it was a great performance and i do not mean to take away anything from it. what i was saying is that he could have turned it up a notch higher becasue he is capable. but then he chose to stick to his gameplan which was smart as to avoid accidents.

that's all i'm saying bro. i my ealier post seemed to diminish jmm's win over juarez, i apologize. for the record, i thought jmm's performance against juarez was better than pac's performance over mab

    You don't need to apoligise.

"jmm's performance against juarez is not a good way to base your predictions in the fight"

Thats what I disagreed with. To a certain degree it needs to be looked at. As I said previously if Marquez looked bad against Jaurez then it almost certainly would have a bearing on peoples opinions for their prediction on tommorow nights fight. It doesn't matter if a fighter looks as good as ever or poor in his previous fight, it needs to used as a guage when predicting his next fight.

Jaurez is certainly more predictable than Pacquiao, carries less power, and also doesn't have the same authoritive workrate; Stylistically different. But how Marquez performed must be taken into consideration.

pac is not over-rated. the results are definitely there. 3-weight and 2-time lineal champ and has faced top opposition to get to this status.

jmm maybe the one a bit over-rated here since people base him solely on his boxing skills as his resume and opposition very much pale in comparison to pac's. jmm is currently a 2-weight but never a lineal champ.

    Marquez: 3-4-5-6-8-9-11
    Pacquiao: 1-2-10-12
    7 even

    Final score: 116-113 -3 knockdown = 113-113 DRAW !

Tough one to pick for the rematch, Marquez know how to beat Pacquiao, but this fight should have been made 2 years ago. Right now, Marquez is older and Pacquiao have got the momentum back, he might win because of that. It will all depend on Marquez condition, round 10-11-12 will decide who the winner is, we will not know until that.
