I dip in and out of it. These are just my subjective perceptions and opinions. Porky is quite an amusing guy. Seems to have a huge ego. Channel is an echo chamber since Porky may may not enjoy entertaining opposing views, so nearly all of his guests just go along with what his views are. Kent is the most depressing man in the world, haven't heard him say anything good about anything at all except untouchable boxers like Usyk, and has some horrendous takes like saying he doesn't think Dubois will ever box again. On top of that the bloke speaks with a perennial upward inflection. The only decent guest might be Richard who is always puffing on a cigar, but doesn't metaphorically rim Porky like the others do. Porky a bit cold and rude to some of his guests, in my view, like the new clean cut bloke who he says looks like Ruud van Nistelrooy and is more cautious around others like "Big Rich", who seems to have some kind of macho presence (might have money - no idea) or Kent, who has been with him since the start and never disagrees with a thing he says. Even the other guests always seem to get a Kent arsekissing in there somewhere like "oh yeah i like that guy...what's he called, Kent? Yeah, he's great he is, love listening to Kent, knows his stuff so he does". I am not sure if they are contracted or nudged into complimenting Kent at least once during every 'interview'. I would say that Porky is a salt of the Earth type bloke and he often goes on about salesmen in boxing and how the consumer is always being sold something and how there's so much greed. Porky is currently partnering up with some guy who is selling a supplement that claims to help ward off neurological deterioration, or something along those lines (good for boxers apparently) what a wonderful cause! Since Porky is no salesperson and isn't greedy, I would appreciate if someone in the know could provide me with links to the studies that have been undertaken that vouch for its effectiveness. I am sure that empirical research has been undertaken on the supplement itself, such as randomised controlled trials and longitudinal studies, but I am not very good at looking this stuff up! Thanks a lot. Seems like a great supplement for a great cause. Credit to all involved! When I am provided with the evidence I may then take the plunge to make an order, as it may help the next time I ram my head off the underside of the car boot or I smack my head in the attic. Overall, the channel is quite entertaining and amusing, in small doses, and Porky has some good knowledge and information. I would say that I agree with a large part of what Porky says. My recommendation would be to get some people on who have differing views to stir up more interesting discussion.
Find Porky a bit of a mouthy idiot to be honest, the footage of him hitting the bag might be some of the worst I’ve ever seen as well. Even that Emperor Michael odd ball might have chinned him, much prefer the YB at least he’s funny.
I watch it now and again and have noticed some guests get treated differently to others on there. I do agree with him on a lot of things though.
Came across that Emperor guy recently and made me think of about 13 years ago. I think he started off interviewing boxers or something. Are you not being a bit unfair on Porky though since he does have some good information. Yes, can't stand people like that in daily life. One face for one and another face for another. I still tune in now and then because I think Porky has some good insight into certain things. So, overall, there's good and bad.
