Anyone watch the behind the ropes with Amir Khan...What did you think?

Think he did it on purpose. He had his hands down alot of the time.

Still sometimes stands there with his guard up taking hooks around... needs to get rid of that habit asap.
despite bieng sparring and looking like he is trying different things out that habit is always there.. so don't know why it hasn't been addressed.


It looked to me like he was looking for all out power. That is defintly not how he is gonna fight... I hope

Wait a minute... that hands low **** looks haye style. I Fckin hope Tabares isn't hoping to make Khan a powerhouse. That **** doesn't suit him.

Watching the sparring bits now. Not impressed at all.

And a good response from Ruben (when telling him to box): "I don't give a **** whether it's boring or not"

 

Khan said "It looks boring"

Since he is clearly trying different things/a style out (slow hands low shoulder usage)

Ruben said he didn't give a sh*t - All he cares about is whether he is hitting hard or not with it.

 

Khan better listen to that advice and utilise that boring style or it's goodnight again

Khan has options for this fight and can fight it however he wants.

At the moment they are just working out the best way to get the KO. all a balancing act.

 

after watching behind the ropes...i'm convinced. khan is in trouble.

1. long camp followed by fight falling out...leading to another long camp

2. struggling to make weight...

3. having 2 non-experienced fitness trainers fill in for freddie...not good.

4. shitty sparring. he's taking way too many shots...

5. freddie saying he needs to win by ko. not good.

6. he let garcia's pops get under his skin. (mission accomplished)

it's not looking good for khan.

I don't bet, but if I did I'd stick a oner on Khan to get a stoppage. I understand the support for Garcia but even some of his biggest fans fear he will lose.

 

i really don't think much of garcia. i know he's solid and strong. ppl are selling him short because he had a hard time against morales. i think most would have a hard time against morales. garcia is a big dude for the weight. if khan comes in there trying to trade...it's going to be a long night. if he boxes...he can win easily. with freddie talking ko...i can see khan getting stretched.

 

great video. it's better than many of the recent 24 7s. Amir looking unimpressive in sparring.

Roach's condition is getting worse, but he still holding on strong
