I understand that Hawkins is a tough customer who went he distance with Tua and Peter, but I just hope that Boytsov is not yet another heavy who cannot bring his power when faced with a live body. A lot of guys on the Euro board were saying that they expected this thing to go the distance. I just hope hope that Boytsov really developes into that complete package that we all want to see.
Yeah I saw it and boystov was everything but impressive. And not because he didn't ko his opponent. He's even less good than chagaev: when he'll step it up a bit he'll probably lose
seen it...Boytsov looks like a decent boxer with heavy hands....could become champ within 3 or 4 years from now....
boytsov looked bad. he looked somewhat clueless against 43 year old grandpa hawkins, who is slick. but he should have been more workmanlike. his workrate was way too low. he looked like he was simply looking for the one shot. boytsov may be only 22, but he is a mature 22. somehow, i have a bad feeling with him. i have a feeling he is gonna fizzle out. maybe his heart problems are affecting him more than i thought they would at first. early in his career he looked great...........but he was blowing out tomato cans. now, the air for him is getting alot thinner.
