Anyone watching Elite XC tonight?

Nick Diaz is seriously awefull, Denny is worst

 

Yeah, pretty solid card so far. EliteXC is so much better without Kimbo Slice.

 

Diaz spent the first two minutes eating punches and Muay Thai knees from a guy literally half his size. The fact he would win was a foregone conclusion. I'm surprised how bad he looked in the beginning. Then again, his standup has never been pinpoint accurate...even when he's teeing off on a very game tomato can.

 

I think Gina would get beat by Cyborg(she looks like a man)

No, but I wouldn't mind seeing him beat the hell out of Kimbo Slice.

 

Cyborg certainly took advantage of Brazil's lax (or nonexistant) drug testing at some point in her past. She's got enough testosterone in that body to grow a seven foot mustache.

Yeah, if this was a lingerie pillow fight, Carano would win hands down. But in an actual MMA fight, Cyborg will put up a hell of a fight. She's strong and aggressive, and I'm not sure Gina has had someone come at her like that. Most of her opponents fight timid, like Tyson's early opponents. If Cyborg comes at her hard, Carano will have to adjust. How well she adjusts is going to determine the outcome, I think.

Carano has more accurate striking, and at least some semblance of a ground game, so she's got the advantage on paper. But there's something to be said for an aggressive, confident opponent.

 

Anderson Silva is there, he is really a cool guy, he represent MMA very well
he was signing autograph, taking photos with kids, was smiling...We need more guys like him

 

I'm watching the Cotto/Margarito undercard. It' been very good so far. Three rough fights in a row.
