Why are people assuming there will be racially motivated violence in the theaters? Is it assumed that it's only 14 year olds that will be attending? Are we really going to perpetuate a stereotype of boxing fans of certain ethnicities being immature ****sticks?

It's like a few months back when some big drunk brutha and his boys were hooting and hollering all through Orphan, using crude language, talking about "this would only happen in a white household" and crap - OK, funny in your living room but I didn't pay $10 to listen to your stupid ass. You're in public. You're a grown ass man. Shut the **** up. My gf and a couple other people got the theater mgmt involved, who threatened to have the dudes arrested (I'm glad they did this, because otherwise I would have taken the far less refined approach of spinning around and burying an elbow in the *****'s nose until he bled out - and I really don't need to be spending the night in jail because some ******* can't control his volume and has his size 12 dangling in my popcorn). They refused to budge and argued with the managers and some of the complaining patrons that "Black folks talk in the movies. It's a theater in Boston at 10pm on a weekend - what do you expect?" - this line got a few chuckles from the audience (they were mostly black themselves, and all pro-douchebags). It doesn't matter what color you are, what city you're in, or what time it is. You're an adult. You're in public. Act civilized. This is just basic ****ing knowledge, isn't it? :blood

It is playing in a theater two blocks away from me. Which means I can go there drunk.
