Phonk, I disagree. If the fighters are keen and well matched they can put on a good show. That`s what boxing is about. We`ve all become boxing snobs. Why can`t we enjoy good journeymen having a dash?

your comment on burke is harsh he did what he had to do to win it werent pretty but then what did you want him to do get outbox by Mcarthur to make you happy he just exploited the oppurtunity the cut gave him.
the real issue is why was Mcarthur allowed to box in the semis it was obvious that cut was only gonna get worse

 

just back from the show, savilles fans were total dickheads, one ***git had a big red plastic bin above his head, threatening to throw it into the seating area were i was sitting, young kids the lot sitting there "welcome to boxing"

****in neanderthals, glad mcarthur got the win, they wankers ****ed off to a barrage of "cheerio cheerio cheerio"


shame mcarthur was stopped with the cut, he would have went on to win it i'm sure, and motherwells charlie king just never got started

 

Dunno what the subs get but the boxers start with £4,000 each, £8,000 if you get through to the semis, £12,000 for the runner up and £25,000 for the winner.

 

Like said above you get paid pretty well just for getting on it.

Sorry to hear that about Saville's fans, they can get a bit boisterious, his fight with Baz Carey recently a woman started on Carey's mrs lol! It wasnt funny really. But remember a lot of them had probably been drinking all the way from Wolverhampton on the plane etc (no excuse and Saville himself is a lovely bloke)

Gilmour ruined tonights prizefighter imo, the subs shouldve been in from the start but they wanted to keep the scots happy. If it wouldve been 2 english lads got cut (not gilmour fighters) I reckon they may have brought the subs in. **** night.

If Gilmour is co promoting the next one I wont even bother watching it.

do you think gilmour bound and gagged the doctor and the BBB of C officials to allow brawley and mcarthur to continue?

brawleys was fine, mcarthur's cut was only made worse by the dirty ******* burke, who even tried to ruff up brawley in the same manner
