Thats not the same though lol. Ward would be around 50lbs lighter than chisora whilst manny was 15lbs lighter lol. Comparing a 1 stone advantage to a 3 stone advantage is just plain stupid.

True. Someone ought to do a statistical study about that. I'd also like to see one where someone showed the major advantages tall fighters have over smaller fighters.

its the other way around you idiot, skill and experience matters much more. A tiny guy like rigo would **** up a 200+lb guy that has been boxing for only 5 years or so.

In the gym you're matched with people your skill level not size

I am not seeing enough bias put on "reach" here - obviously none of these things will do it alone but I think reach in itself is one of the most useful natural physical advantages, beyond height even. Case in point, Floyd Mayweather Jr - compare his reach to a LOT of his opponents

Yes this is true..If you are say 5'11 fighting a more skilled guy at 6'0 200 can be easier than a less skilled guy at 6'4 230 as example, just based on length and the bigger guy being harder to hurt.Thats why they have weight classes the to distribute the size difference where skill is the main objective not overall size.I personally think that's why a superheavyweight class should be made..no Hw's around 215 even exist anymore that's clear proof about how weight plays a role.

Was it surreal watching Mayweather fight Ortiz, Maidana,Baldomir, Cotto,Canelo who outweighed him by around 15 pounds?

Tyson at 5'10 and 215/220 in his prime was huge...its not about height really but weight, hence weight classes...Tyson also possessed uncanny speed using him doesn't show anything.

Size does matter that's why Ms Jackson left Floyd.
