Heh, good list. I don't hate on him in the slightest for it, and I like Cotto.

Look at the amount of time Sugar Ray Leonard took between fights sometimes- if Cotto keeps winning, and does it impressively, the PBF fight's going to happen.

Why would being a Hatton or Cotto fan have anything to do with it? He is fighting Oscar next and this fight will have no effect on this fight nor one with the other 2 fighters should they be lucky enough to get a shot.

Personally I don't care what he does. I don't think it will affect this prep for Oscar so he can do whatever he likes in his spare time. Personally I will not watch it but I bet buthuggers like the thread starter will be drawn in by the hype and will watch Wrestlemania just to see Floyd.

 

First and foremost, as a so called Boxing fan, your concern should be seeing the best match ups in the sport possible. Not another another man's bank account. Because unless you're part of team Mayweather, how does Floyd taking home 20 million dollars benefit you? Fact of the matter is, Mayweather claimed to take 2008 and 2009 off to rest and promote. Then one week he's going MMA, the next rematching De La Hoya, and all of a sudden in the WWE. People (myself included )don't knock him for paper chasing. We knock him for his maximum pay, minimum risk mentality. Which is hard to respect from supposedly the #1 P4P fighter in the sport.

Frankly, I still don't believe the $20 mill number. Whatever it's worth to the WWE's PPV numbers, I doubt it is that.

who the hell would not do that, i dont remeber it being a big deal when ali fought a wrestler, or when evander knocked out matt hardy or even when mike tyson and stone cold were about to go out it.
