....The dude is a classic example of a fighter well managed by his promotional outfit.

He harvested on really poor B level opposition.

The only time he stepped up against 2 excellent fighter he got totally beatdown...even more so against WARd who I would fancy to beat Calzaghe.( Calzaghe would have faced WARD a young Skilled fighter in his prime)

It was predictable to see Kessler unable to deal with Wards variation

WARD made a QUOTE that Sums KESSLER up.

" I THOUGHT HE WOUL DCHANGE IT UP, BUT HE KEPT DOING THE SAME THING"

wARD seemed suprised but I was not...Kessler has decent speed and excels against average opposition. he comes in straight lines doesnt throw feints, straight 1-2 little head movement......it REALLY highlights how poor the supermiddle division has been for so long till this tourney

PREDICTION- Expect Froch to Punch a Hole in Kesslers ASS in the next round, if Ward troubled Kessler with his power (Ward cant break an egg!)
    Froch will murder this guy.

that seems a little unfair , the things he does well , he does really well but Ward was smart and quick enough to take advantage of the things he doesnt do.

you are the joker who just quoted that ward would of beat any of calzaghe `s opponents including calzaghe in another thread.

could you honestly see ward beating calzaghe?

ward has a fast one two,but comes in to throw them, and thats where the mistake would be against calzaghe.
calzaghe would slap his super slap combo`s on him and walk away with a massive ud.

    ward beat hopkins????????????
i dont think so.he would walk sraight into trouble again.

dont get me wrong you are obviously a massive ward fan, and i think ward is a decent fighter but kessler from two years ago would of been a differrent story too.

The logical hole in your argument is this. If the supper middleweight division is as poor as you claim, why should we then expect Froch (who has been fighting in the same division against the same sort of opposition) to beat Kessler? Especially as Froch does none of the things that caused Kessler trouble against Ward.

Why is it when a boxer loses a fight he instantly becomes a 'fraud or' is 'exposed'?

..maybe, he just lost a fight. **** happens.

Pascal never did anything at 168lbs.

    Idem for Taylor.

    Dirrel WON!

But, again, this is your problem.

You claim that the SMW division has been weak, but then claim that Froch's wins against people in the same division are good wins.

Who on Earth has Dirrell beaten? Who did Pascal beat? Weren't their opponents SMWs too? You can't claim both that the division is weak and that people like Pascal and Dirrell, whose wins come against below top-ten opposition in the same division, are stand out wins!

I knew kessler was a fraud becuz i know boxing. but if you think u know boxing then u know that kessler is gona beat froch on decision. ward has the speed to catch kessler but lacked power to hurt him. froch has not got the speed to catch him or the timing to catch him acurately and consistently.

so verdit is, froch will have a punchers chance, but I gaurantee he will be losing a lot of rounds and can no way win on decision without knockdowns

Exactly one could argue Ward should have been chucked out for headbutts but he wasnt.

    Ward won , Froch won

Can we all just start enjoying the boxing rather than go through this every f**king time.

kessler`s hand was fine he didnt hold off at all, calzaghe`s hands were in poorer condition than kesslers.

ok you obviously need to watch ward lose to one of the others in the super six.

or do you think he is going to win it?

I never thought Kessler was a great fighter or an outstanding champion, but he's a decent boxer.

Unless he's shot (which he might be, we just cant tell from the Ward fight) I expect him to beat Froch quite easily in his next fight. And then he's WBC champion and one of the "tournament favourites" again !

One of the best things about this Super Six thing we be reading stuff on ESB how fighters go from "fraud" to "favourite" and back again from one fight to the next.

People are forgetting the "FROCH SUCKS" mantra all of a sudden, now that Kessler is no longer flavour of the month. :D

Styles make fights. Kessler was always going to struggle against Ward, I think all the Europeans would. The one I'd give the best shot against him is Abraham, but even then, I think he'll struggle.

I don't think anyone will go through the Super 6 undefeated.
