But in that case you could say anyone is doping and that we don’t know that they’re not. Unfortunately we can only go off failed tests and Fury has failed whilst Usyk hasn’t. I suppose certain gyms look dodgy though e.g. Reynoso has had plenty of failed tests and half of Tony Sims’ lot suddenly developed knockout power whilst the other half started pulling out of fights etc. I can’t warm to Fury as I just think he’s a compulsive liar, a drug cheat and a man who lies about giving money to charity but I’ll be the first to say fair play should he win. Welcome to the forum anyway.
I see usyk has gone from crying to referees to crying about the ring now. Something about the joins. Bloody hell.
Very simplistic viewpoint and it doesn't work like that. It's professional sport. None of your heroes are earning their money and winning their silverware on bananas and rice alone. On Saturday you will be watching two men who have been following an extensive and carefully planned doping protocol. Sorry to break that to you.
Sky Sports News has been told a member of Oleksandr Usyk's team was unhappy with the canvas seam during Wednesday's open workout No surprise this gets reported with Sky showing the fight, they really do seem to specalise in mountains out of molehills.
It’s a bit different mate come on, we didn’t have social media 25 years ago and Twitter wasn’t even founded until 2006 so that’s unfair to compare the 2 events when socials are such a huge part of today’s society. If I remember correctly Lewis v Holyfield was the lead story on the front page on the New York Times. That would never happen with this fight anywhere. Fury being ‘adored’ by the British public? You are talking nonsense.
Lewis' rivals were very popular despite no social media, so I am not sure I get your point. If his rivals were popular, why wasn't he? He was a wooden guy and an egoist. Even now he brings everything back to his achievements when interviewed. Lewis is in my top twenty-five heavyweights, possibly top twenty, so I have nothing against him. True, to say Fury is adored by Britain is probably doing him a disservice. He was treated so unfairly but is now obviously adored since the comeback. Books, public appearances, fights all doing big money. I've been to a few of his evening events and they have been absolutely fantastic. Very hard to get tickets in my experience, however.
Reading the above, I’m starting to think you maybe part of Team Fury. If so please tell the father he is a twat. I also think we should agree to disagree on everything you have put, enjoy the fight.
A slightly churlish response. I don't know exactly what I put that was inaccurate or remotely controversial, but you do you.
